I’ve been following this in DWM, I suppose it’s been average not the best they’ve ever done, Scott Gray is capable of better. But if this is 11’s last comic strip then what about next issue? They can’t show a Peter Capaldi strip before we’ve actually seen his first episode because I read about them having that same dilemma with the 8th-9th Doctor comic strip transition in the Flood comic collection. I noticed in the Next Time box it mentioned Vastra Jenny and Strax could we be getting a comic strip with them to see us through till August?

Oh my god i hope so, we need a Paternoster Gang comic strip so bad.

My thoughts exactly. I personally think they’d translate better into comic than a spin off, there are more possibilities

Love the final shot of the 11th Doctor spread over 2 pages where his Doctor joins a Party, a nice way indeed to end the 11th Doctor’s comic-strips, no doubt Matt Smith himself is pleased assuming he reads Doctor Who Magazine [I know Billie Piper is a reader cos I recall she mentioned once being a subscriber].

Wasn’t a big fan of ‘The Blood of Azrael’, the art was a bit sloppy and it had a disappointing resolution, I would’ve been happier with ‘Hunters’ being Matt’s last strip. ‘Azrael’ was nowhere near as good as a send off for Eleven than what Ten got. And ‘The Crimson Hand’ would’ve been a MUCH better send off for ten in the show!

No it wouldn’t have. The point of comics is that they have an unlimited budget. Besides there’s nowhere in crimson where ten could regenerate, whereas in blood, the red stuff on the tardis could have poisoned him and triggered a regeneration

2104 is a Century from now, and Doctor Fan is quite right by saying that we will all be dead by then . . . . well, except children being born in the world today who will no doubt be around perhaps if they live into their 70’s or 80’s by that time.

But yes, Dalek 1234 is also right in stating that it is just a typo, so it’s not something we should make a great big fuss over.

    I really like the storyline.
it’s just like the kind that they made for the eighth doctor.
reminds me of the glorious dead with all the tie ins and unsuspecting characters turning out to be the villains.

I hope this will be the same size as the other collections, not the same size as the magazine. That would be incredibly annoying if it was different.

Loving the strips in DWM, but then when aren’t they fantastic? Really looking forward to reading them all in one place, and completing the Matt Smith comic collection.

Wish they would hurry up and wrap up the Seventh Doctor strips. I expect they don’t sell as many, but still………
