I normally don’t buy DW boxsets at full price (with the exception of limited editions obviously) and intended to buy the standard Series 9 B-R next year when it had come down in price, but when I realised that the mock-up art was in fact the final cover art I just had to cough up and get the beautiful steelbook edition, Alice X. Zhang’s artwork is just to beautiful to resist 🙂

Do you remember the good old days where there use to be 13 commentaries and tge only thing people were complaining about was the confidentials being cut down. I just find it ashame that you can find most of the extras on the web now and not many new content is provided.

A collectible case, made of steel.
They were more sought after from 2007 onwards, but these days, EVERYTHING gets a steelbook.

They have made Capaldi look too old on the art work and his hair is season 8 styled. Is it me or is that the Bonny version of Clara (the white shirt and long black coat)-the Zygon. Why not paint the Clara in the waitress outfit or blue jumper and the red velvet doctor

I don’t know how some people still don’t own devices that can play blu-rays, all new games consoles can and blu-ray players arn’t expensive.

It’s definitely worth the extra price for blu-rays folks! You can definitely tell the difference in quality + they often have much more special features!

I’ll be honest, not a big fan of the art style, but I was hoping a special edition would be produced. I hope BBC Shop also have a special edition. I’ll wait to see what the finalised artwork of the regular edition is before I make my decision.
