Doctor Who Series 6 – Part One DVD

Doctor Who Series 6 – Part 1 DVD

The Doctor returns, alongside newly weds Amy and Rory, to face monsters and mysteries and adventures all across time and space, in a thrilling new series of Doctor Who.

Together they’ll find themselves in sixties America, battling the invasion the world forgot, then journey on the high seas of 1696 aboard a pirate ship, to solve the mystery of the Siren.

In a bubble universe at the very edge of reality, the Doctor will meet an old friend with a new face, and in a monastery on a remote island in the near future, an industrial accident will take on a terrible human shape.

And waiting for them, at the end of all this, is the battle of Demon’s Run, and the Doctor’s darkest hour. Can even the truth about River Song save the Time Lord’s soul?

Only two things are certain. Silence will fall. And a good man is going to die…

Released on 11 July 2011.

Um can i point out there is only 11 doctors… And has anyone noticed the new design on Matt Smith’s new one? He must’ve replaced the top half becuz where it was brass before its silver now.

Some say that the dvd will be around £25, and I hope RORY ‘Dies Daily’ Williams doesn’t get converted into a cyberman because he’s one of my favourite characters, and when RIver falls from the building she may fall in the TARDIS as she says to the doctor you will always be able to catch me when i fall in series 5 Episode 4

Will they still do the DVDs of 3 episodes or is now just a half a series per DVD?

It will only be in halves. This is Part 1 and there will only be one more DVD with the remaining 6 episodes of the series.

p.s. I reckon that the “good man who will die” is Rory, again, remember back to the Construction Set of Rory on the Cyber conversion unit.

💡 a new theory. the good man who dies could be romana due to a timelord can regenerate from one sex to another. so river could be romana. if she is a timelord this can also explain why she did not regenerate in forest of the dead as somethings are too much for a timelord to regenerate after so they die.

There are time lords and time ladies, this whole gender bender regeneration is nonsense…

    • Come along Pond

      April 3rd, 2011 - 10:50pm

Also, Romana was played by Mary Tamm (1978 to 1979) and Lalla Ward (1979 to 1981) two female actors; a Time Lady! A Time Lord can not regenerate into a Time Lady, and vice versa, a Time Lady can not regenerate into a Time Lord. It just wouldn’t work
