July 26th, 2011 - 12:13pmI AM REALLY CONFUSED!!! booboo, below some comments said that they are not going to do amelia pond and nephew, is this true?? i have pre-ordered her, can you get amelia in packaging please!! and is idris, straight jacket doctor and uncle gonna be released on friday?? does uncle have a gun in the episode?? i don’t think so….

July 26th, 2011 - 12:21pmThe situation is this – Wave one consists of The Doctor with Stetson, 2 silents, Nephew and Amelia, pictures of them have been seen in Argos store rooms.The Argos catalogue is out Saturday.I will be very surprised if we cant buy them then and if we cant i will ask Character myself. That is all the accurate info that is currently available in the UK.
The pictures above are from Australia who seem to have has a second wave consisting of the figures you see in the pictures. All these rumours of delays and figures not being right aren’t helping and to much miss information is being given

July 26th, 2011 - 12:06pmI don’t want to be bother and people please dont scream at me but…there is a shop called nastalgia comics in birmingham who always have the doctor who stuff first and they say ‘apparently’ forbidden planet are delaying the figures again until the middle of august because of a figure they’re not happy with 😥 I hope this is not true as we have waited a long, long time for these to come out.

July 26th, 2011 - 2:03pmI was told by ABC Shop (Australian version of the BBC Shop) that we should be getting them to coincide with the DVD/Blu-ray release of Part 1 here.
That’s 4th of August… so I’d be VERY suprised if you don’t have these figures in the UK by the end of this week.
Also Ikon (our distributer) have told stores to expect them ‘any day now’ (I checked this with the eBay sellers too).
There would have to be a major, last second delay and MASSIVE miscommunication between factory-suppliers-distributers (worldwide) for the figures not to show up.

July 26th, 2011 - 10:32amI’ve seen a few people asking why there are no Amelia or Nephew pictures. On the website there are two seperate assortments (one is wave 1 and the other presumably wave two).
Wave one only has pictures of the figures, wave two has pictures of the packaging, and does not contain Nephew or Amelia.
However, Amelia’s packaging can be seen if you can get pictures or videos from the Christmas in July event. The figure’s full title is “Amelia Pond from Series 5”.

July 26th, 2011 - 10:38amAgreed, the Doctors (mostly) and Silence are the ones I’m looking forward to the most (and Idris). The only thing that really bothers me about this set is that the Silence ‘skin’ looks a bit like marble lol. Still, I’m sure they’ll be fine in hand.
The other ‘inaccuracies’ people have mentioned don’t really bother me. As long as I can plonk some new figures on my desk, I’m happy. 😀

July 26th, 2011 - 10:08amThere’s some on evilbay (unless the seller is telling a little white lie to get early sales), but they’re not in the shops yet. I think they’re probably going to be withheld (in the ABCShop at least) until the DVD/Blu-ray release of Season 6 Part 1 next Thursday (along with Season 3 of Merlin… FINALLY).
I live on the ‘wrong’ side of Australia though, so if they’re available in the eastern states now, I won’t get them in my puddle of a town for at least another week…
