Just received issue 606 in the post, and it seems tit hasn’t even been revealed anywhere else. The cover of Sutekh on the TARDIS looks cool.

I am loving the amount of BTS coverage the new series is getting in DWM, upwards of 40 pages in each issue? If we think back to the Chibnall era that was unheard of! (This is not a slight at the quality of the Chibnall era, but an acknowledgment that the working relationship/ access between the production team & DWM was wildly different.) Will we ever see the Andrew Pixley type BTS write up for S11-13? I’m sure I heard once that it does exist…

Yeah it’s great and definitely shows the production is working a lot closer with the magazine than it was during Jodie’s run.

I’d love to see more of the Companion Volumes too. They brought them back briefly to cover Peter Capaldi’s first season but then stopped during COVID (not sure if this was the reason or just a fluke of timing) and they never continued. I’d love them to pick these up and continue through to the current series.

making the dr who seasons shorter must be even harder now to keep this magazine going especially at that price too.

It survived 16 years with no episodes…

It was less than half the price Anon. I know I’ve had to stop buying it because it’s too expensive and not enough content compared to the start of the Capaldi era when I first got into the mag.

Not bought the magazine regularly since the Capaldi years, but I have to say that’s quite a nice cover, I like the green lettering
