June 26th, 2015 - 5:31pmGreat feature in this issue on the DVD releases. Plus, great to see a DVD cover for ‘The Underwater Menace’ at last!…Such a shame then to see it’s been cancelled! So the animation project for the missing episodes might have fallen through, but surely they could have released episodes 2 and 3 with telesnap reconstructions for parts 1 and 4. I sort of wish that had just released a fully restored episode 2 as an extra on ‘The Moonbase’ DVD release. Would have made more sense looking back.

June 26th, 2015 - 7:21amLucky sod, the 2 WH Smith’s in Barking and the 1 in Ilford have not got Essental Doctor Who about Monsters, and yet the damn magazine came out like 2 weeks back . . . . they are useless !! 😛
Man no wonder I don’t like WH Smith stores so much. If it’s not about them not having a magazine out on the day it’s soupposed to be out, it’s the staff, who are largely a right miserable bunch of old so and so’s.
I’ll get it eventually. I always do 🙂

Also, nearly seven years after Silence in the Library aired, we still have no idea, where or why the Doctor gave her his Sonic Screwdriver! And now Osgood is alive with probably no explanation! WHY MOFFAT WHY?!?!?

June 25th, 2015 - 7:47pmBut we do know why the Doctor gave River his sonic? It was explained in Forest of death… And given the involvement of the Zygons and the fact we know there is a Zygon duplicate of Osgood I think her death/return will be an important plot point.

June 23rd, 2015 - 10:43pmThey just haven’t had enough room for it in recent issues and are probably realising that they are past the halfway point of episodes that are left to watch, so are slowing it down a little bit.

June 24th, 2015 - 3:51pmI think there haven’t been so many Time Team features because at the moment they are watching the 2009 episodes (so only a few specials). They are spacing them out as there are too many episodes to do 2009 and 2010 in one year and have a Christmas special to watch at the right time.
So next years it will probably be back to normal!
