June 25th, 2014 - 4:47pmIs the comic capaldi
And can you tell me the list of questions that wre asked to Steven moffat in the ask Steven section

June 25th, 2014 - 4:54pmYes please say!
It can’t be Capaldi yet, can it?

June 26th, 2014 - 12:56pmIt features the patenoster gang (vastra, jenny and strax)
Obsie
June 25th, 2014 - 11:48amThanks everyone for the explanation of why The “Paternoster Gang” are called just that. However, look up “paternoster” on Wiki and all you get is a public (very dodgy one) elevator no longer in use. Complete with moving image! So Mr. Producer why are they named “Paternoster Gang”? The nation demands answers, stop being a politician!
Anonymous
June 25th, 2014 - 1:45pmHow are they being “politicans”, the full explanation was offered in the Children in Need special for The Snowmen, nothing sinister or fan fiction based at all, it is all there on screen, which was written by Steven Moffat so he has offered the explanation.
If you aren’t happy with it then tough because you have been given it.
Obsie
June 25th, 2014 - 1:59pmFor goodness sake, I’m only being jokey! If Catherine Tate’s Nan character was about, the words from her would be: “Oh, take a chill pill!” I’m not being serious, I don’t care why they’re called it. Just trying to lighten up from endless football.
100000BC
June 25th, 2014 - 4:49pmAh, the endless football. You’re not the only one…
The Other
June 25th, 2014 - 6:31pmUrgh, football 🙁
What I wouldn’t give for a Dalek saucer to blast all football stadiums to smoking holes in the ground (when they’re empty of course – although there are some ‘fans’ who cause way more trouble than their worth
the astronaut of death
June 25th, 2014 - 6:35pmI don’t like football
I hope they do an episode where the doctor tries to save football

June 25th, 2014 - 4:51amAnyone know what that “Seven-Eleven” story’s about? Does it involve a connection between the Cartnell Plan and something Moffat did with Matt’s time?
the astronaut of death
June 25th, 2014 - 12:35pmwell they did that last time so I guess there doing it again .
it is where they look at how seventh doctor stories have an impact on matt smith stories
Obsie
June 25th, 2014 - 1:37pmDoes it mean that Fenric is to be re-visited, along with Hand of Omega and so on?
Trenzalore
June 25th, 2014 - 3:23pmThey’ll be doing Season 25 next as they did Season 24 last issue, so can’t think what Matt Smith has to do with it ❓
the astronaut of death
June 25th, 2014 - 3:28pmoh well we will know tomorrow..
100000BC
June 25th, 2014 - 4:50pmIt’s about how the Seventh Doctor’s era “paved the way” for new Who from Eccleston onwards. They are looking at each 7th Doctor story in turn.
Obsie
June 25th, 2014 - 5:20pmA kind of filling in the blanks while it was off air (I know novels did, sort of) but being official in nature & tying up loose ends?
Obsie
June 26th, 2014 - 1:53pmIf going back to “Sarn” in Lanzarote, this is not going to be the reason why Kamelion was seen in The Black Archives in the 50th is it?
Obsie
June 26th, 2014 - 1:54pmI know it’s not the 7th but stranger things have happened.
The Other
June 26th, 2014 - 2:00pmCould be, although that would either be a brilliantly subtle hint to the future, or a simple response to fan queries on Moffats’ part
Obsie
June 26th, 2014 - 6:53pmIf it’s a response I don’t mind at all, would sort it out, even with a few lines. After all we are still to find out exactly when Clara had visited them before.

June 24th, 2014 - 6:42pmAbout time these 3 were dropped. Terrible.
StetsonDoctor
June 24th, 2014 - 8:38pmI think they’re the best thing that’s happened to the show in a long time. What do you hate about them so much? They’re funny, clever and entertaining. And also, they’ve only had like 4 TV adventures, so you can’t demand them to be dropped.
Tardispals
June 24th, 2014 - 9:05pmWhy? 🙁
Tardispals
June 24th, 2014 - 9:15pmI agree StetsonDoctor! + they are perfect spin off material! 😀
100000BC
June 24th, 2014 - 9:32pmSo long as Strax doesn’t become an archetypal Sontaran (i.e. all Sontarans become purely for comedic value and stupid) then they are one of the best things in the Moffat era.
StetsonDoctor
June 24th, 2014 - 9:33pmOh Yes! PLEASE DO A CBBC SPIN-OFF!!
StetsonDoctor
June 24th, 2014 - 9:35pmI actually like Strax, he comes up with some funny stuff. I think it’s important to remember, that although the Sontarans are a race that are serious about war, it’s not a bad thing (well, it is for them) to see them as slightly stupid-I think you would get confused over genders if you were in Strax’s position. Also, Strax is only, what…13? He’s a child, I think people forget/ignore this…
Trenzalore
June 24th, 2014 - 9:38pm13 is quite old for a Sontaran.
100000BC
June 24th, 2014 - 9:40pmYeah, I love Strax as a character, just so long as all the other Sontarans don’t become like him (like in The Time of the Doctor, whose Sontarans I shall choose to believe were not part of the regular Sontaran army who were marching ruthlessly through Christmas at the same time)
the astronaut of death
June 24th, 2014 - 9:40pmyeah like 90 or 100 is rather young for a time lord
100000BC
June 24th, 2014 - 9:45pmThey should do the Time of the Doctor: the Extended version on DVD with better Sontarans and more time to show the Doctor battling armies of monsters, maybe even Mme Kovarian breaking rogue and eventually being EXTERMINATED!
The Whofan101
June 24th, 2014 - 9:59pmI think they’re…okay. They have the problem that there’s always one main member, usually Vastra. Jenny was given the limelight in The Crimson Horror, but Strax is underused outside of comedy and Vasta is a bit one-note. They’re good, but they could be done so much better.
Tardispals
June 24th, 2014 - 11:21pmIt is good if Jenny, Vastra and strax get equal amounts of tv time. Vastra and strax were quite domimant in past episodes so i was only fair/equal if Jenny got more action in the crimson horror! 😀
100000BC
June 25th, 2014 - 4:32pmI do agree that if Strax’s comedy value was lowered and Jenny’s action time was increased they could be loads better, however they are still quite good.
The Werewolf
June 26th, 2014 - 1:51amThe Sontarans have been ruined.
Doctor Stu
June 24th, 2014 - 6:04pmI suppose they provide some light comedy but I really don’t like how the sontarans have turned from a powerful, scary, threatening army into Strax
the astronaut of death
June 24th, 2014 - 6:09pmMe too I could cope with stars
But when they appeared in time of the doctor and acted really stupid just like strax I got really annoyed
They should do a story in series 8 with the sontarnans to bring them back to the great and full glory
Rowan Walsh
June 24th, 2014 - 8:32pmI see your argument and agree somewhat but just hope that there will be a proper Sontaran episode sometime soon! Maybe strax could be involved in that somehow 🙂
the astronaut of death
June 24th, 2014 - 8:48pmyeah they should do a story
where it involves strax choosing between his freinds or his fellow sontarnans
or it turns out strax all along has been working for his fellow sontarnans and has been feeding them information on the doctor

June 25th, 2014 - 4:01pmNo. I think he is a great character, but is hardly a soldier (or nurse). He is more of a three year old. Dan Starky is such a good actor, but Strax makes him look so stupid!
videogamemad00
June 25th, 2014 - 4:15pmNo, I really don’t like him.
Trenzalore
June 24th, 2014 - 3:22pmthis looks like a fun issue, I’ve recently been collecting older issues like from Eccleston’s era, I’ve just ordered issue 100 from Amazon 😀 so I may pass on this as I personally don’t really care for the Paternoster Gang. Although the Kate O’Mara tribute looks good, so I may get it for that.

June 24th, 2014 - 2:56pmI think it’s the name of the street where they have their headquarters when in Victorian London, but I could be wrong!

June 25th, 2014 - 11:53amDalek 1234. I feel alone, bereft and alone!!! Left in the infinite shadow corridors where guidance never comes! I am alone for no one knows why they are called “The Paternoster Gang” !
Dalek1234
June 25th, 2014 - 12:07pmbut I don’t know either but I know now because they just said it!
the astronaut of death
June 25th, 2014 - 12:16pmwell paternoster has 2 definitions
1. (in the Roman Catholic Church) the Lord’s Prayer, especially in Latin
2 . a lift consisting of a series of linked compartments moving continuously on an endless belt.
2. a lift consisting of a series of linked compartments moving continuously on an endless belt.
Obsie
June 25th, 2014 - 1:45pmBut Dalek 1234, it could all be lies or disruptive untruths. After all Totters Lane was never right next door to Coal Hill School, as seen in the 50th! Ian & Barbara had to go by car. I’m still bereft or the Hospital has affected my senses, look what happened to Martha!

June 25th, 2014 - 1:52pmastronaut of death, Knew the last two, (caught in a time loop there I see!) but thank you 4 the first one. However, don’t see the relevance, there has to be an explanation of name giving. My curiosity is not satiated!
Trenzalore
June 25th, 2014 - 3:26pmPaternoster Row is a street in London near St Paul’s Cathedral that’s been there since the 1800’s, that’s probably where he got it from.

June 25th, 2014 - 4:39pmYour welcome
I sent a question in a few weeks ago , I’m hoping it gets answered in this issue
100000BC
June 25th, 2014 - 4:46pmIn response to a previous reply, we never see the junkyard in Day, only the gate, which is just as likely to be propped up on the wall as it is to be open and leading into the yard. I also have reason to believe that IM Foreman has multiple scrap yards, hence the three entirely different yards (two of which are in the early 1960s and have different spellings of the name on the gate)
7’s comment of “I’ve been here before” in Remembrance could refer to a different visit or be a clue to the true identity of the mysterious IM Foreman.
Obsie
June 25th, 2014 - 5:23pmastronaut of death, going to say what question was or tell me to wait till tomorrow?

June 25th, 2014 - 5:30pmOhni asked
How far ahead do you plan Dr who ?
Hoping to get some gossip on s9
Obsie
June 25th, 2014 - 9:02pm100000BC Thanks for that about the junkyard. I’m beginning to think IM Foreman was in cahoots with someone!
100000BC
June 26th, 2014 - 3:34pmJust something small for people to think about… 😀 There’s no reason why he should only have one site, maybe the one featured in An Unearthly Child was getting a bit full so he got the one in Remembrance, then by the 80’s in Attack of the Cybermen he needed another one…
Obsie
June 26th, 2014 - 8:49pm100000BC Yes, as The Doctor himself remarked in his “all started out as a mild curiosity…” speech. Look how big things got. For all we know IM foreman could have been in cahoots with the undertakers who were “minding” The Hand of Omega, oh, there’s dark goings on somewhere I’ll bet.
100000BC
June 26th, 2014 - 9:10pmAnd, of course, with the Doctor’s friends Mr. Pink and Mrs Oswald both teaching in that area of London, there’s scope for a Capaldi adventure out of it… (even if it is a fan fiction)
Obsie
June 27th, 2014 - 9:30amYes, all those photos on boards in The Black Archives; Starting with Susan, etc. Who was lurking around ever corner from the early days, how did they know and what did they know? There is a lot shrouded in that fog from the early 60’s.
100000BC
June 27th, 2014 - 3:28pmAnybody could have had their eye on that junkyard, that school or various other nearby sites during the months leading up to the disappearance of two school teachers…
