June 22nd, 2015 - 10:12pmBen Robinson has put up these hints for issues 61-65 as he can’t reveal them yet:
1. One of them is from a black and white story
2. One of them has a bad temper
3. It’s easy to get a handle on one of them
4. One of them was very sweet and met an unfortunate end
5. One of them got the hump
He also noted the “sweet” comment shouldn’t be taken literally when asked if it was the Kandyman.
I’m guessing that’s as far as they can plan at the moment, because issue 66 is probably around the time they’ll get clearance for figures from the upcoming series so they’ll not want to commit just yet to anything.
The Werewolf
June 22nd, 2015 - 11:03pmOne of them, perhaps the black and white one is the Sensorite that Ben Robinson mentioned a few months ago.
The handle one is obviously a Cyberman.
The hump one is probably a Paradigm Dalek.
Maybe the bad temper one is the Sixth Doctor?
I thought they wouldn’t get to Series 9 until issue 70.

June 22nd, 2015 - 11:06pmWe got our first 2014 figure in issue 40, so with 26 issues a year issue 66 seems a sensible minimum for 2015 episodes.
The Werewolf
June 22nd, 2015 - 11:10pmIt could be 66 yes.
Also, since Ben Robinson mentioned an insect woman before, add that to the ‘very sweet and meets an unfortunate end’ I think we can conclude that the other one is Chantho.
booboo
June 24th, 2015 - 10:00pmcould this not actually be Mr Sweet, he was attached to a woman and definitely met an unfortunate end
The Werewolf
June 22nd, 2015 - 11:14pmI assumed 70 because, like 40, I think theyd’ want to start on a multiple of 10, but given how random they are sometimes, it could be 66. I hope they do the Vervoid soon though.
Anonymous
June 22nd, 2015 - 11:46pmThey currently seem to work in “batches” of five, so issue 66-70 would be the “batch” after this one he’s just hinted at (61-65), so would seem a sensible place to start.

June 23rd, 2015 - 7:55amI hope it isn’t Chantho because I realy wanted a Jacobi master
Anonymous
June 23rd, 2015 - 2:40pmWhy would doing Chantho stop a Jacobi Master? They are doing all the Masters.
Anonymous
June 24th, 2015 - 5:24pmHe’s added a new one:
6. The next five figs I announce will be based on stories from 5 different Doctors.
The Werewolf
June 24th, 2015 - 5:44pmI noticed that too. If Chantho is there, then the Cyberman is obviously not the Doomsday one either. Nor is is the Wooden one from Time of the Doctor.
So I think it must either be: Wheel in Space [2] or Revenge of the Cybermen [4]
Since the others are, I’m assuming: 1, 6, 10 and 11.
Anonymous
June 24th, 2015 - 5:53pmThere’s only one black and white figure though, so that takes out your Sensorite if it is The Wheel in Space Cyberman.
The Werewolf
June 24th, 2015 - 6:07pmAh yes it does, so what would be in the other slot then? None of the clues suggest anything else there, so if it is the Wheel in Space Cyberman, the other slot is secret then, and could really be almost anything.
Anonymous
June 24th, 2015 - 9:32pmThe Sweet one can be Lynda from the Bad Wolf episode.
Anonymous
June 24th, 2015 - 9:56pmLynda with a “Y” would only be asking for trouble, there’s enough irritation over the lack of companions, giving a figure to a minor character like that with no proper motivation wouldn’t go down well.
The Werewolf
June 24th, 2015 - 10:47pmInteresting guess booboo. Hadn’t thought of Mr Sweet. I’m still thinking Chantho though
Anonymous
June 25th, 2015 - 1:00amSomebody asked if any of these suggestions were right: Axon, Destroyer, Sixth Doctor, Sutekh, New Paradigm Dalek. The response was “yes” so at least one of them was correct.
The list is seemingly a portion of the early plan line-up they gave out a couple of years back for around this time (issues 62-66 rather than 61-65 if you were wondering) rather than based off the clues.
The Werewolf
June 25th, 2015 - 1:57amWell the Sixth Doctor and the Paradigm Dalek were kind of easy to deduce from the clues. As for the Axon, Sutekh and the Destroyer, I’m sure they’ll appear as soon as Eaglemoss remember the existence of classic-series-only monsters, which might not be until after issue 70.
Anonymous
June 25th, 2015 - 2:12amThe list was quoting one of Eaglemoss’ own plans, you can’t really say they’ve ignored it if it is a quote from themselves.
The Werewolf
June 25th, 2015 - 2:46amI’m not saying they ignored them full stop. I’m wondering if sales of the Terileptil weren’t as high as they would have liked, so they’ve decided to hold out on them, or else they are the main casualty of the decision to have the Doctors and Daleks start appearing at a more frequent rate.
Anonymous
June 25th, 2015 - 3:53amThe Doctors are certainly increasing steadily, but the Daleks are all over the place. Going nearly a dozen issues with just a Davros figure then having three in quick succession isn’t exactly telling us much other than they aren’t spacing them out well.
They’ll go for a 21st century monster over a 20th century one because they are more in demand. Sales aren’t going to be varying all that much at this stage in the collection I’m sure, it will be more general trends and feedback they have to go by than a collapse in sales on one particular issue.

November 15th, 2015 - 8:54pmapparently 61 is chantho
MrHalloWho
June 19th, 2015 - 8:03amMcGann looks creepy with plain white eyes.
The Werewolf
June 18th, 2015 - 9:19pmI knew McGann was going to pick that look, it looks good of course
The Regenarated Doctor
June 18th, 2015 - 7:28pmThe 8th Doctor looks really good!
Drewsko
June 18th, 2015 - 7:04pmA NOTD 8th is nice, but I felt the TV Movie look was more iconic, and interesting for the figurine range since Character’s already doing a NOTD 8th, and their 3 3/4th figures are a similar scale to the figurines. I’m a bit sad about that, but I’ll still consider tracking him down when issue 60 comes out.
Gosh, hard to believe the magazines are coming along this far on by now.
The Werewolf
June 18th, 2015 - 10:13pmI won’t criticise the choice of outfit as it’s McGann’s own personal choice, so that makes it right in my book.
Drewsko
June 19th, 2015 - 2:11amOh, McGann chose the outfit his Doctor would wear for the figure? Makes sense then, it was clear that of his not-Dark Eyes wardrobes, he favored the NOTD look over the TV movie’s. Understandable, but a bit unfortunate for me, I rather enjoyed the Victorian style of his film costume.
Doctor Rules
June 16th, 2015 - 8:30pmThe First Doctor Issue will be taking a look at Unearthly Child surely. It must!
Anonymous
June 17th, 2015 - 1:33amIt can be whatever First Doctor story they choose to base the figure on (at which point I think we can safely rule out An Unearthly Child based on the outfit and pose, sorry!)
luke kelly
June 18th, 2015 - 10:28pmlooks like a dalek episode, or even the 5 doctors (although that wasn’t wIlliam)
The Werewolf
June 20th, 2015 - 5:48pmTwould be more sensible for them to choose a story without monsters ( a historical, most likely), that way they can discuss that story in the magazine.
Doom Dalek
June 14th, 2015 - 2:32pmIssue 60 will probably be a Doctor (Patrick Troughton, Colin Baker, Paul McGaunn) or a Master
Gareth Pugh
June 14th, 2015 - 4:08pmPutting ‘two and two together’ as the saying goes, Issue 60 sounds like it’s going to be the Eighth Doctor. Ben Robinson (Eaglemoss)’s Tweet said that issue 60 was awaiting sign-off on the sculpt from the actor, but that the actor concerned had picked which of his DW costumes was to be used for his figurine. A few weeks further back, he mentioned that Paul McGann had been consulted by them and done exactly that (though which he picked remains a mystery, as yet…)
The Werewolf
June 14th, 2015 - 4:31pmGareth is correct. I am 99.97% sure that issue 60 is the Eighth Doctor.

June 14th, 2015 - 6:23pmI’m hoping its the costume from the TV movie
Darren
June 14th, 2015 - 8:14pmPersonally I’m hoping its NOTD 8th even though I really want the TV movie 8th, but im saying NOTD 8th cause then there is more chance of a TV movie Master (with the rights issues for the movie always being a problem for anything) to cover that episode in the magazine seeing they and if it’s NOTD 8th they can cover that mini episode in that issue of the magazine so both things with Paul McGann is covered in the magazines.
The Werewolf
June 14th, 2015 - 9:49pm“The Night of the Doctor” has already been covered in Issue 24 (The War Doctor), so it wouldn’t matter either way (assuming they are allowed to do Eric Roberts)
Explosive Cookie
June 14th, 2015 - 10:54pmI’m really hoping he picked his current Dark Eyes one to be fair, hopefully he did seeing as he designed it himself iirc 😛
Anonymous
June 15th, 2015 - 12:06amYes, the Dark Eyes costume was personally commissioned by Paul McGann so it would make sense (plus they would have to go to him for approval on the costume as its his design).
Stewart
June 13th, 2015 - 12:30amLoving the doctor – how could I not 🙂
The Werewolf
June 12th, 2015 - 6:39pmSome very interesting looking figurines especially the First Doctor. Also very interested in the Auton.
It’s a pity that there are no unique classic monsters between 43 and 60 though, and yet 3 Daleks between 55 and 60.
The Werewolf
June 12th, 2015 - 6:41pmForgot to add, looks like you were right booboo, this Friday it is.

June 12th, 2015 - 6:47pmAs he notes, “Daleks always make people happy!” They’ll make more because it makes them more money.

June 12th, 2015 - 6:12pmWish that William Hartnell was a 3.75′ action figure.
The Living Shadow
June 12th, 2015 - 8:11pmI’m still hoping for a 13 Doctors 3.75” figure set…
Professor Black
June 12th, 2015 - 5:08pmLove the look of these!! Especially sec and the auton!
Sherlock Holmes
June 12th, 2015 - 4:02pmI’m looking forward to the First Doctor. He looks like a really good one.
doctor3000
June 12th, 2015 - 4:02pmI wonder what issue 60 is??
Darren
June 12th, 2015 - 4:08pmGoing by what he has said in the past and with that clue on his page today the chances are that it’s a doctor, but not the one you was expecting, but its not 100% confirmed yet which is why he can’t say right now

June 12th, 2015 - 5:28pmWho is he? Who is he? *kneels down on broken glass bearing chest through hospital gown* WHO IS HEEEEEEEEEE…!!!????
Doctor Rules
June 13th, 2015 - 6:25pmPerhaps Peter Cushing or the Shalka Doctor?
Anonymous
June 13th, 2015 - 8:31pmThey don’t have the rights to the Cushing movies, it’s been mentioned the actor chose the costume for the figure and that McGann did this. Not much debate so long as it gets approved.
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
June 12th, 2015 - 3:51pmLove the look of that auton
