October 15th, 2011 - 10:11amguys the reason CO make figures that didnt have big parts in episodes is because the background peg soldier for example was very well detailed in the costume and they can make figures look great. some figre they think would be a bit “bland” of detail so they dont bother.
although they have made so many doctor variants from spare parts because they are cutting back on figures because of last years overstock.

October 14th, 2011 - 5:38pmI absoloutly LOVE this figures! The peg soldier is my favourite. This cybermen are great too! The cybermats are ok but you can’t really think of story lines to put them in. ( I was thinking maybe to do a figure adventure with the peg soldier as a haunted museum piece.) I have not got the doctor with beard because i thought i may aswell get the new hair style doctor figure later on 🙂

October 15th, 2011 - 6:44pmi make my own figure adventures! but i don’t put them on youtube, amy was kidnapped by the silence when she was a kid, so her history changed and the doctor called river for help. but the silence teleport had gone wrong, so it left behind a pile of gunk, (the flesh) and if you got consumed by it, it would take you to where it came from. so whenever the doctor teleported, that would appear. The goo consumed the tardis console, and before it disapeared, the doctor diverted the main power control to the tenth doctors control room. the doctor then

We DO HOWEVER need the character Madam Kovarian and I the Doctor with eyepatch and long hair as seen in the Wedding of Riversong. 😉

As for the Doctor, a bit of a wasted oppurtunity IMO given that they probably could have made a similar (but more important) figure of the Doctor from the Wedding of Riversong (same sculpt, same hair but no beard and a Blue bowtie rather than the innaccurate red). 😛
The Cybers are great, I will be getting that one with the chest damage, it’s the most distinctive one, in addition to some normal Cyberman with gun. 🙂
