May 18th, 2015 - 2:12pmThe Lady Cassandra figure is excellent, its a very accurate representation to the Lady Cassandra that we saw in the episode

March 4th, 2015 - 11:15pmWhy? If they are going to make lesser characters, don’t make ones we’ve had various versions of from Character.

March 4th, 2015 - 11:44pmWhy does the figures Character made have any bearing on this? These aren’t action figures, these are collectible figurines.
The Werewolf
March 5th, 2015 - 12:07amPrecisely. 90% of these at least have been made as action figures by Character fr 5″ or 3.75″ or both. Only a few are not, and it is irrelevant as they are not the same product and the 2 companies are not in competition with one another.

March 5th, 2015 - 12:33pmI think the argument s that for soem reason eaglemoss are mainly issuing figures done by character….almost as if theyre using character’s figures as their blueprint…. we havent sene any Troughton or Hartnell aliens at all aside from Daleks and cybemen ..again already produced by Character…the draconian may not have been produced by character but the stance is exactly the same as draconians produced by at least 2 other companies…. theres no excuse for us not to have had a yeti, or a zarbi…..and what a shocker is a kroton or a chumbley were released !! Something original for once…..

March 5th, 2015 - 12:37pmThe strange thing I do notice is that original series Star ships in the star trek series are also rather rare…. wonder why theyre so scared of producing stuff for fans of the ‘classic material ??
The Werewolf
March 5th, 2015 - 1:55pmA Yeti special would be awesome…

March 5th, 2015 - 3:12pmHas it occurred to you that the reason both are making the same thing is probably because they both have identical rationale behind their choices of figures?
You say you don’t want “lesser” characters, but guess what, if its a major character there’s a very good chance Character WILL have already done it. Duplication is obviously going to happen.

March 5th, 2015 - 3:24pmSorry anonymous but character havent produced any Troughton opponents beside the cybermen and theyve only produced an additional two hartnell opponents… I dont count any of the Hartnell/Troughton aliens/monsters or robots as ‘lesser’ characters….. they just arent living up to their original claim to be celebrating 50 years of dr who……Come to think of it theres loads of Colin Baker, Davison and McCoy figures which havent been touched yet either…In fact the amount of classic figures produced by Character of Eaglemoss is minimal…even one of the Eaglemoss ‘top dogs’ said he was disappointed with the small number of classic figures.

March 5th, 2015 - 3:41pmI raise you an Ice Warrior as a Troughton monster they have released (Character that is).
If we look at every figure they have mentioned an intention of releasing 20th century Who accounts for just over 40% of the collection. If we exclude the first 14 issues where they were forced into producing 21st century characters, that goes to just over 50%. Still below the 60% a balanced collection would provide, but its still a significant amount.
Considering they are intentionally favouring modern stories given recentism works in marketing, that’s certainly not a bad ratio to have.

March 5th, 2015 - 3:43pmAlso, just to note, if we look at the official scheduled figures, excluding the early forced batch, the percentage remains at 50%, although obviously that biased start knocks the full set figure down to 34%.

March 4th, 2015 - 7:15pmIt would be great to see if it skin is an opaque plastic but well detailed with veins and the facial features so when on display some light could be shown though to highlight on that the skin is as thin as it is in the episode
Funko Pop Crazy Ross
March 4th, 2015 - 6:55pmI could imagine cassandras skin being on some type of steel so that the material they use doesn’t brake.

March 4th, 2015 - 6:42pmSo will the figure be of rusty Cassandra as I’d have preferred the clean version from ‘The End of the World’?
The Werewolf
March 4th, 2015 - 6:48pmIt might still be clean, like the SWD was for some reason.
Trenzalore
March 4th, 2015 - 7:10pmFingers crossed (not that I’ll be massively put-off if it is rusty)
