Doctor Who B&M Exclusive 2019 Sontarans Figure Set

The Sontarans Collector Figure Set also features this fearful enemy and includes Lieutenant Harry Sullivan – one of the companions of the Fourth Doctor, plus two Sontarans – Field Major Styre, and Commander Linx. Accessories include Sontaran helmets and blasters.
Sets will be available in B&M stores from Late August

They said to try come in as much as I can over the next two weeks as that’s about the time when they’ll most likely be on the shelf.

I’m also seeing some wrong info on quantities being banded about.

I rang the Gorton store and all they could tell me was all the action figures were gone from the shelves….I said you didn’t ask which ones I was after, she just repeated what she had already said. Not helpful.

August 15th, 2019 - 3:26pmthey are probably getting fed of being asked, and we can’t assume staff are going to be, nor should they expected to be that knowledgeable on these sets.
B&M aren’t talking they could easily clarify the situation if they wanted to.
As far as i know none of the Big Finish sets or 3 figure sets are actually at the central warehouse yet.

August 16th, 2019 - 9:16amI scanned the barcodes on the boxes, eighth Doctor and Dalek shares the same code as the War Doctor set. Fourth and Fifth Doctors Tardis is the same as the fourth Doctors Tardis earlier this year. All showing on their system.
As for getting fed up being asked, I could see that, but I didn’t even mention the words Doctor Who haha.

August 16th, 2019 - 9:26amwhat shows in the system sometimes doesn’t always translate to stock availability , from past experience eg due dates default to the next day and so on until they arrive
I have seen comment after comment about supposed stock arrivals all of which have turned out to be wrong.
Not all of the stock is in the warehouse and the last communication with B&M was that it would all be launched together towards the end of the month

August 7th, 2019 - 9:54amWhile I was reviewing the Nemesis set, one thing I find strange with the seventh Doctor is unlike earlier releases they have just painted the handkerchief which sticks out of his pocket plain red without the paisley type pattern on it.

The trouble is I usually rely on ebay. As I don’t drive and live miles away from my nearest B&M. I live closer to B&Q!

Just have to wait and see when the stock arrives I suppose to see what they have decided with everything.

August 3rd, 2019 - 6:08pmThe Chance of getting further companions is also always dependant on actor approval and negotiated fee. It may be easier/cheaper to obtain such rights from deceased actors estates I imagine and this may be the only reason this Harry could be released on B and M’s budget. I may be wrong but I think Character had a lot of trouble gaining approval from Elizabeth Sladen and this may be why we have never had a young Sarah figure.
