I’m considering picking this up as, although i was never a fan of the change in scale, I would like to at least see what the figures are like and this is as good a way as any to get examples of the figures and the play sets. I am now very glad that i did not pick up a 12th doctor on clearance from forbidden planet when i was down last week.

I GOT IT!!! ITS AMAZING!! (I recommend using Blu Tack for standing the figures up) The only problem i had with it is that my hoverbout had 2 of the left rails 🙁 so i used the right one from my other set on it so now my other hoverbout is without one lol

Booboo/Luke-please could you update the 3.75″ collectors list to include the figures and time zone from this set when you have the chance? I know you’re busy, so doesn’t have to be immediately.

This is good price considering that the figures on their own would cost about £35 and that doesn’t include the actual playset and the exclusive hover bout is this is a great deal in my opinion

  • The Five Doctors

    July 18th, 2015 - 10:54pm

Think I might pass on this one even if it’s £25, got 2 of the time zone “playsets” in 2013 and yeah, let’s not go there will pick up Clara & Rusty when they are indavidually released

Is the 12th Doc figure exactly the same as the regular release or does it include a slightly different painjob perhaps?

just got argos catalogue and the pics are of wave 4b which isn,t happening

  • Rebel Whovian

Brought this today at Argos. Definitely worth £24.99 and the figures are amazing. Although all of the figures are re-releases, the Clara and rusty figure really do stand out. The build quality and the structure is good and it’s easy to build, apart from the ‘half of a tube-like’ object that is against the floor, that was the only thing that was a pain to make. Also, the black and red colour scheme of the hover bout looks amazing and really stands out. I really do recommend you buy this set, even if you are a collector.

Well technically it’s 3 re releases a repaint, a prerelease and an exclusive

Argos website was a total mess this morning. I managed to Reserve 1 of the 2 ‘Into The Dalek’ Sets my local store had in stock online but couldn’t find any reference to the new 3.75″ figures? Went to the store & picked up the Time Zone Set & found the new Wave 4 figures in the Catalogue. After asking to view the one figure in stock, they brought out a battered & tatty Wave 3 10th. Doctor. Turn’s out they didn’t have ANY of the new figures in at all!

    • ahunter8056

      July 18th, 2015 - 1:29pm

That’s because the new wave isn’t out yet, and is likely to release in August. These catalogues are designed to last for months, so they need to keep it up to date, despite not having some of the product in stock when the catalogue is first launched.

    • booboo

      July 18th, 2015 - 1:30pm

in the past they have always had a handful of figures in stock from the new catalogue

    • ahunter8056

      July 18th, 2015 - 1:48pm

Yes, but very small amounts at a limited number of stores.

    • shatner

      July 18th, 2015 - 4:18pm

was there any pics of new wave 4 in catalogue

    • booboo

      July 18th, 2015 - 4:19pm

sounds like its the old wave that’s changed now

  • Nobody in particular

    July 18th, 2015 - 11:58am

Much better price there than £50. Now it can actually be classed as a ‘value set’

  • TheAgeOfUltron

    July 18th, 2015 - 11:56am

    I only like the Clara.

  • shatner

    July 18th, 2015 - 11:19am

I had a choice to wait or not i wanted to have it early so can play with my mates kid and am still pleased i did. but that is still a bit shocking. I may wait in the future.

  • Colin the 3rd

    July 18th, 2015 - 10:56am

Great puce but this kind of pricing tactics should be stamped on

Also kind of cheapens the line to me

that’s less than £5 a figure let alone the play set

    July 18th, 2015 - 10:52am

wow. i feel bad for those who paid 50! This will now fly off the shelves

  • thehostproductions

    July 18th, 2015 - 10:20am

Well bi guess the slight is slightly more value for money now so the name is more relevant :p

  • ahunter8056

    July 18th, 2015 - 10:15am

Excellent price now, already reserved mine. My brother’s birthday isn’t for another couple of months, but couldn’t pass it up at that price.

  • Doctor W

    July 18th, 2015 - 10:01am

Is the price drop permanent or only for a certain time?

    • booboo

      July 18th, 2015 - 10:49am

its not a price drop in my book, more like a deliberate original price hike

    • Doctor W

      July 18th, 2015 - 11:33am

So I’d assume it’s permanently this price then? I was just wondering as I might wait a bit before getting it.

    • booboo

      July 18th, 2015 - 11:47am

well its in the catalogue at this price for six months, they cant alter that, unless they sell out of course

    • ahunter8056

      July 18th, 2015 - 1:27pm

I just picked up the catalogue, this product is not included in it.

    • booboo

      July 18th, 2015 - 1:28pm

its is, its a value section not with the other Doctor Who items

    • ahunter8056

      July 18th, 2015 - 1:30pm

Ah right. Strange to not put it in the Doctor Who section. Didn’t even know there was a value section.

  • The Living Shadow

    July 18th, 2015 - 9:51am

I knew this set would go down in price! So tempted to get this, although I should save my money, as it seems like this will be an expensive second half of the year!

    • booboo

      July 18th, 2015 - 10:50am

I suspect so did Argos when they took £50 off people
