Doctor Who Adventures issue 260
Doctor Who Adventures issue 260
It’s a cracking day, isn’t it?
I’m sat on the most beautiful beach on Planet Cool (although no-one is wearing a bow tie).
Amy and Rory are building sandcastles and all is right with the universe.
For once. It would be a bit boring, to be honest, if I weren’t reading Who Adventures!
Hurrah!
Also inside…
*Vroom! Vroom!
*Monster arms and armour
*Craig’s calamities
*Spot the difference
*Regeneration
*The demons of Repton Abbey (comic)
*Building The Doctors Cot and much more

March 13th, 2012 - 9:14pmwent into 3 very large supermarkets today, no Doctor Who stuff to speak of at all – its just not there to be bought! -oh apart from in one who were charging £14.97 per figure, astonishing
BOOBOO JR
March 13th, 2012 - 9:29pmReally? What shops were they? At least I have a few shops near me that stock stuff, the rest I have to get online.
booboo
March 13th, 2012 - 9:36pmTesco, Asda and Sainsbury’.
locally they have always been poor on Doctor Who stuff.
We live in Cheltenham which is quite a big town but apart from the entertainer which doesn’t keep much there is absolutely no where to buy stuff here.
Bow tie of Doom
March 13th, 2012 - 9:38pmShocking! The same goes for my Toys R Us, there are the same old boring figures (Smiler Francesco, Stetson Doctor etc) and NO flesh wave figures! Why? Why??? 🙁
Bow tie of Doom
March 13th, 2012 - 9:44pmMy local Tesco has a TARDIS pencil case, CB series 2 figures and Magic of the Angels Quick Read book. Another Tesco near me has Pandorica figures and CB series 2 figures. My local Sainsburys is quite good for the new series adventures books as they get them in on day of release and they do sell some good Who DVD’s. They also have figures except they are just Uncle, Idris and Stetson and Straightjacket Doctors. My Asda is good for DVD’s and books, but all they have in terms of figures is just CB series 2 and the Flesh goo pod.
Bow tie of Doom
March 13th, 2012 - 9:50pmOh and of course they do all sell Doctor Who Magazines apart from my two Tescos. One sells Adventures and (I think) MI. The other sells DWA and MI, although they’ve stopped stocking DWM recently. Sainsburys and ASDA sell all Magazines that are DW related which are out at the moment.
BOOBOO JR
March 13th, 2012 - 9:52pmSainsburys near me used to be quite good, but now they’ve sold all the stuff all off. I’m hoping this is to make room for the new CB stuff. Tesco near me is hopeless, full price Pandorica Wave figures and that’s it. As for Asda, there’s nothing at all. The Entertainer near me seems to have sold everything off too, again, I hope it’s to make room for new stuff.
Alex_The_Geek
March 14th, 2012 - 6:00amI live in small town and my local Co-Op sells DWA and DWMI cards and my local Tesco sells Character Building figures (Doctor Who and HM Armed Forces) , Doctor Who stationary and DWA. But thats all I can buy in walking distances.

March 14th, 2012 - 4:46pmi only go to asda, since it is nearer to me, and we have all the big supermarkets in basingstoke, asda have figures for £14.97 and they are ones that nobody gets because they already have them: cybermats bearded doctor(not got it) they have some cb series two and loads (i mean whole boxes full) of flesh goo pods.

March 13th, 2012 - 5:54pmCool cover! They can talk about Top Gear, Little Britan, Gavin and stacey, Come fly with me and Corrie and Estenders but they don’t do anything about Torchwood! Bit bizaree. Little Britain is a 15! I suppose they are making it for older readers. 7-15? Also is the Ultimate Monster Poster Diesesed Humans? Can anyone put it on this page?
