November 11th, 2011 - 9:17pmWhy March? Because back in August at the Let’s Kill Hitler press release somebody complained about the lack of a Rory figure, Arthur Darvill got upset, Karen Gillan started laughing at him and Steven Moffat made it his “priority” to ensure one was made.
A figure takes a minimum of six months to produce so if they started in late August/early September then the earliest it could be released would be late February/early March so giving them some extra time and saying “March at the earliest” seems the most likely option.

As for which series, knowing CO they will go for the one they can repaint the most to make as many possible variants out of so if they released the one from say The Doctor’s Wife they just need to repaint it to get The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood. As for longest serving companions, not quite yet, although they are getting close. By the end of the next series it is possible though, but the record is just over three years at the moment.

But their ivolvement in the next series full time has been confirmed by the BBC even if Moffat, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill won’t admit it.

November 11th, 2011 - 5:32pmThey are in the process of making a Rory, Steven Moffat has forced them into doing so. However, because they were not wanting to make one no plans were in place when the demand was made so we have to wait the full six months of production so it will probablly be March next year at the earliest before we see a Rory.
As for asking CO, they don’t give out any information on future figures, your best bet would be to ask when the next lot of figures will be announced/revealed but they won’t tell you what’s in it just when if your lucky.
