Collector Series box packed Clara Oswald 5.5inch figure in purple dress.
Clara Oswald is one of the Doctor’s most extraordinary companions. In order to help the Doctor she allowed the time winds to tear into countless different iterations of herself living and dying all over time and space, like echoes.
The Doctor finally discovered the truth about Clara on Trenzalore and was able to save her from the threat of the time winds. He brought her safely back to Earth where she began a job as a school teacher and she was present when he regenerated in into his twelfth incarnation.

October 11th, 2015 - 2:20pmThe only issue i currently have with the collector series is the lack of accessories for the price. Some yes are good, Missy had a couple, But this will most likely be £14.99 plus postage so I think we could have made some sort of accessory. Maybe a bag, or mini TARDIS form Flatline. Just something so its not just a figure. I mean look at the likes of Sherlock figure, its £12.99 and you get a nice amount of bits with it! A moan i know, but I do feel a bit robbed.

October 11th, 2015 - 10:48amTo be honest, I’m totally fine with is repaint, I got the Oswin figure yesterday and it’s a great figure! It’s not my priority in terms on what figures I want to buy, though, as I’m totally fine with displaying Oswin next to Capaldi and sort of having her as Clara, but for those who are bothered about that, I think this is a good figure!

October 11th, 2015 - 3:56amThe “inaccuracy” doesn’t bother me at all. Where companions are concerned, it never has. Had there been a Rose with a different coloured hoodie or an Amy with a different coloured shirt, I wouldn’t have minded. She may have worn it in an adventure we never saw. Besides, this is close enough (at least in my eyes) to a Name of the Doctor Clara to pass.

October 11th, 2015 - 8:42amExactly my thoughts. If anything I prefer having innaccuracies as the character wouldn’t wear the same thing all the time, so for FA it’s brilliant.
But as a collector also it is a little frustrating, this sort of has a balance as its loosely based on NOTD

And I do agree missy is a beautiful figure and that’s why I have bought it. But in my opinion this isn’t a beautiful figure.

anything else would have cost a lot more money for retooling paint masks etc etc and they clearly felt the money was best invested in new figures Like Missy and the 8th Doctor and just releasing a Basic Clara figure using existing tooling for those who want one
If you had gotten another “proper” Clara variant and no Missy people would have been complaining even more no doubt
I doubt Character have a bottomless pit to invest in these new figures

I went to Barnes n Nobles.com and did “find in store” and they are holding it for me. They also have 5.5 12th Doctor in polka dot shirt and The Curator set at Barnes n Nobles too.

October 11th, 2015 - 12:00amJust bought Clara and I noticed a flaw and i bet they all have it. The elbow joint when you move it for the first time, paint comes off. Once the paint is off, underneath where the paint was its still a peach color plastic. Still looks really good.

October 10th, 2015 - 6:02pmSeems silly to release a figure that wasn’t seen on screen, especially one as dull as this. Just can’t see their reasoning behind it other than money.
I think it would have been smarter to release the Oswin red dress figure on its own as its at least screen accurate and allows the people who missed the previous release / couldn’t afford it / didn’t want to buy another 11th Doctor to get that.

Its probably the best way of getting Clara into the range whilst spending money elsewhere on new figure rather than re tooling existing ones

Huge investments will have gone into Missy and the 8th Doctor and Curator its not a bottomless pit

October 10th, 2015 - 6:16pmThe point is we have been complaining that we don’t get enough figures and then they give us a load of the ones we’ve been asking for and people still complain we are getting a Missy and NOTD 8 but people are too busy complaining about a Clara figure who’s only real problem is that it’s inaccurate, I’ve seen pictures from someone who has it and it looks amazing
