September 23rd, 2019 - 11:18amMy order, dispatched on 12 September, is travelling via Japan according to the tracking. Not the most obvious route from the US to the UK, but so long as it turns up soon I’ll be satisfied.
Doctor Stub
September 18th, 2019 - 8:34pmIt still looks dreadful, like a knock off custom for a 5” figure. It would probably be passable for a 3.75” quality figure. But for 5”? It’s a disaster. Why does it all go wrong every time Americans get their hands on anything Doctor Who? XD
Dan Cziraky
September 14th, 2019 - 9:40pmI received mine in today’s mail. It was boxed up well, but the upper part of the card still has a slight bend to it. I haven’t taken the figure off the card, yet. Yes, it looks like a knock-off of the CO version. Not much good to say about it.
GallifreyanKnight
September 14th, 2019 - 12:54pmLooks like a Poundland knock-off.
Andrew
September 12th, 2019 - 5:43pmHorrendous!
whovian
September 12th, 2019 - 9:39amI’m not sure what it is, but there is something very “off” about this figure. Could be that it doesn’t look like Jodie Whittaker, but I don’t think it’s even that. It just looks strange. Glad I got my Character Options version of her already
booboo
September 12th, 2019 - 10:17amIt’s basically an “attempt” to me the pictures of the delivered product did look a bit better to me but it’s a million miles away from character
Anonymous
September 13th, 2019 - 12:51pmCan you share any of the delivered photos, Booboo?
booboo
September 13th, 2019 - 2:13pmThey are on toots instagrame page

September 12th, 2019 - 8:49amhas the coatless version been ditched?

September 12th, 2019 - 10:15amSeven20 don’t seem to talk to anyone so no idea

September 20th, 2019 - 7:53pmlooks like it’s appeared on preorder on BBTS

September 11th, 2019 - 3:14amCharacter come back and get us your Doctor who figures please. This is awful. Not buying it.
TheMaster
September 11th, 2019 - 7:32amCo still do figures just for b&m bargains these days.
As no one else will stock them due to the actor of the day having a year gap as they don’t appear to be able to get actors these days to fully commit to a TV series in the UK.
US TV still appears to be able to produce 20 or so episodes per year.
booboo
September 11th, 2019 - 8:02amDon’t nt think the gap year is anything to do with jodie
The Flying Shark
September 11th, 2019 - 10:43amThe US TV industry is MASSIVE compared to the UK. It’s like they’ve got the Collection Blu-Ray box sets and we have VHS tapes. It really, really isn’t fair to compare the two.
Bobby Davros
September 11th, 2019 - 1:27pmOnly a few genre TV shows manage to get out 20 episodes a year now. With the Netflix and cable stuff your lucky to get ten episodes every 12-18 months now. It’s the writing you cant rush.
Thetruth
September 11th, 2019 - 1:37pmBack in the day pre 1989 they used to make a new series every year mostly.
No TV show on air no shops will be willing to stock anything simple as.
Anonymous
September 11th, 2019 - 3:11pmYou do realize that most of the new who series were actually roughly the same running time as classic who series. A 26 episode series in the seventies is the same as a 13 episode series in the 2010’s. The final 4 classic series were the equivalent of just 7 new who stories a year. As to the gap year, Jodie is actually working on the show as we type and has been for sometime. It’s scheduling not “commitment”
TheMaster
September 11th, 2019 - 5:26pmOK I guess we will see who the doctor regenerates into in 2020
When it returns to Saturday evenings
Anonymous
September 11th, 2019 - 6:08pmAs someone has said us TV is vastly different to UK TV. Remember the master, that Peter capaldi had a year off as well. Are you having a go at him? Or is is it just Jodie you are calling?
Doctor Stu
September 10th, 2019 - 5:39pmI will call her ‘Bootleg Jodie’
Bobby Davros
September 13th, 2019 - 1:18amI call her “transporter malfunction Jodie”. It should come with a sound chip which says “please, kill me!”
Daz
September 10th, 2019 - 5:15pmIt’s not as good as the Character version but I’d buy one just to have it in my collection as it’s quite nice.
Jamie D
September 10th, 2019 - 4:59pmYou mean its actually real?! The in hand pictures will be interesting.
Richard Jordan
September 9th, 2019 - 8:08amJust emailed Toots’ again and got a reply sayng he has them and tey are shipping this week… we’ll see what happens now i guess
Ben Delany
August 21st, 2019 - 10:15amThis is you, and the CO one is the guy she tells you not to worry about, in all honestly this reminds me of crap bootleg Star Wars figures that Ashens reviews.
KORSAIR
September 10th, 2019 - 10:51pmYep.
Richard Jordan
July 31st, 2019 - 7:08pmStill awaiting my order. I keep emailing Toots to see the status of this odd figure and ive have the same messages a few of you have had too . the last one was at the start of last month saying its in customs awaiting clearance,… but no email since then, so i have messaged Toots this afternoon to see what’s what. i am beginning to think it has been cancelled too if i’m honest…
booboo
July 31st, 2019 - 7:15pmlast 2 emails to toots gone unanswered, seven20 have never replied at all, who ever licensed this should get involved its giving giving the brand a poor image if i had the nerve i would show them all up on twitter.
BrunoB
August 18th, 2019 - 8:28amsame here, I asked Toots Toys for a refund. Still waiting for an answer… I don’t expect one
booboo
August 18th, 2019 - 9:48amand way over any time for any Paypal claims as well
I feel like going on a social media name and shame campaign to be honest and I’m not blaming toot’s toys here i think they are just as much a victim.
Someone from BBC licensing need to step in
The Outcast
August 18th, 2019 - 12:32pmAs I’ve said before, I think the US distribution license needs to be given to someone who’ll partner with CO. Seven20 have done next to nothing with it, the only thing I can remember them releasing is that Sonic with the spinning crystal and a plushy with a cup or something.
Figure and toy wise, I really just wish they’d give the license to someone who’ll distribute CO’s stuff, like before the whole Underground Toys Funko buyout. Have it so everyone has the same figures.
Exterminator
July 7th, 2019 - 3:50pmDoes this figure come with removable coat then? Only in the photos, some unopened figures haven’t even got the coat?
Also, if this is exclusively for the American market, why has the packaging in French as well? Canada too maybe?
booboo
July 7th, 2019 - 4:54pmi assume it as separate figure as some are boxed up without the coat
Anonymous
July 25th, 2019 - 10:15amIt looks weird that she’s still wearing the coat sleeves without the coat?
BrunoB
July 25th, 2019 - 2:25pmShe actually wears two layers. a short sleeved coloured t-shirt and a long sleeved one underneath

Wholords2
June 18th, 2019 - 6:45pmHas anyone asked whether they might eventually do more figures?
I wouldn’t buy any humanoid figures because it looks terrible but it would be cool if they ever did any villains from series 11 or a nightmare in silver cyberman
booboo
June 18th, 2019 - 7:00pmthey mentioned it but i doubt it, besides in the UK it would cost £30 a figure to get it here
Wholords2
June 18th, 2019 - 7:15pmI suppose so but tbh I’d pay £30 if it let me fill the gaps with figures that CO won’t make
Bobby Davros
September 10th, 2019 - 10:08pmIt’s like the sculptor has never actually seen a real human female.
booboo
June 18th, 2019 - 12:41pmI have emailed toots but not had a reply which is unusual, starting to think something is not right.

June 26th, 2019 - 8:04amI’m telling you… it’s cancelled! I keep getting order cancellation emails.
booboo
June 26th, 2019 - 8:09amno one else has that i have seen? I certainly haven’t, and they are still taking orders. Yous say “keep getting them” how many did you order? can you forward it on to [email protected] so i can see it and take it up with them then?
Daniel O’Brien
June 26th, 2019 - 10:06amI contacted George Toot a few days ago and have yet to receive a reply, which as you say is unusual for him. I haven’t received any notice of cancellation, either. Not sure what to think at this point.
booboo
June 26th, 2019 - 10:11amHe did reply and they said they had “been trying to get hold of seven20”, emailed again today so see what they say.
What ever is going on i think this is very much in seven20’s hands, feel a bit sorry for toots.
Daniel O’Brien
June 26th, 2019 - 11:10amThanks for the update. I hope Toot’s deal with seven20 won’t prove a poisoned chalice in this instance. It doesn’t bode well that George Toot appears to be having problems getting a response from the company.
booboo
June 26th, 2019 - 11:23amhave sent a message to seven20 on twitter see if they reply
Daniel O’Brien
July 7th, 2019 - 1:47pmAn update from George Toot. Seven20 say the consignment has arrived and is currently being processed by US Customs.

May 10th, 2019 - 3:54pmApparently the figure is cancelled…
booboo
May 10th, 2019 - 4:03pmwhere has that come from they are still taking orders
Daniel O’Brien
May 12th, 2019 - 1:28pmI emailed Toot’s Toys this morning for an update and was told that the shipment to the company was dispatched two weeks ago. I assume it’s coming from China, though this wasn’t specified.
Anonymous
May 15th, 2019 - 9:24pmI just got a reply saying that my figure has been cancelled, and my money is coming back? Very confused, and just placed my order again.

May 18th, 2019 - 10:53pmSo have I! Anyone else in a similar boat?

May 19th, 2019 - 9:40amyou seem to be the only one, being as its your comment above as well.

Geeksville
June 14th, 2019 - 8:02amI also was told on May 13 that the figures were on the boat from China on their way to the US
I’ve been wondering if they are stuck in customs because of tariff nonsense
booboo
June 14th, 2019 - 8:17amHe’s probably had them dumped at sea in the hope they will get washed up on a shore in Whales.
but yes its strange on a total lack of news, and the jacket less one that was shown
Anonymous
June 15th, 2019 - 7:49pmI feel sorry for George Toot – he has been let down by the supplier. Unfortunately he still has had no confirmation of when stocks will arrive so has offered me a refund. After 6 months of waiting I have decided to take him up on that offer. I was never 100% about the figure in the first place.
booboo
June 15th, 2019 - 8:18pmI’m a completest so still want it if possible but yes its a poor show and nothing to do with toots.
Richard Jordan
August 6th, 2019 - 1:34pmMessaged Toots again, got this reply…
“Nobody has been forgotten about. Seven20 has been a pain to deal with. My shipments are at their Dock right now, but can’t get them to give me updates.”
booboo
August 6th, 2019 - 2:20pmYes just got the same mail

Daniel O’Brien
March 14th, 2019 - 12:53pmI emailed Toot’s Toys a few weeks back, and was told the figure should ship some time in March.

April 6th, 2019 - 9:16amI contacted Toot’s Toys again and was told it should ship in around two weeks. Make of that what you will.

March 3rd, 2019 - 5:32pmNo thank you I rather the character options version
BrunoB
March 2nd, 2019 - 8:35amOh dear… It would be OK for a retro style 3.75″ figure but…
