When the Doctor, Amy and Rory are captured and brought before the Parliament of the Daleks, they naturally fear for their lives. Expecting to be exterminated, they are surprised to be asked to save the Daleks.

Humankind has somehow managed to enter the Dalek Asylum – a planet where insane and unruly Daleks are dumped. A spaceship has crash landed rupturing a hole in the planet’s defence shield. If humans can get in, then Daleks can get out!
Plus there’s at least one survivor; Oswin Oswald has sent out a distress signal. Facing his most dangerous enemy, the Doctor and the Ponds must enter the Asylum, rescue Oswin and stop the breach before any insane Daleks can escape into the universe. However, the Doctor discovers a heartbreaking,truth and realises not everyone can be saved…

September 6th, 2013 - 9:58amDo we know if this is a re-shape? I have the 12 inch RC original bronze Dalek from 2005 and Dalek Sec and their top sections are too small and the skirts stupidly wide…

September 6th, 2013 - 3:15pmJust got mine – local Toys-R-Us who didn’t know they were getting it! There are three more on the shelves and one of the 50th Union Jack….
It’s exactly the same shape as the 2005 original, but more like the Emperor’s Guard or Assault versions in colour.
The hemishpheres are a lighter in colour than any of the others, and the main body/head shade is more of a chocolate than the dark bronze of the two variants. It also has a unique “name” stamp under the eye stalk.

September 6th, 2013 - 3:20pmThe ‘weathering’ is disappointing, and appears to have been done too quickly by simply wiping off the wet chocolate top coat with a rag to reveal the original bronze beneath. It has not been done to a high level of competence on mine. It was, however, the best paint job out of the ones they had, so maybe they’re all done in a rush….

September 6th, 2013 - 6:30am3 12in Daleks in as many weeks; amazing when 2 we did not know about and would not if it were not for Booboo.
I went to TRU Portsmouth for a change last week and staggered that the wave 2 double packs were tucked away on the bottom shelf.
They do not do bags any more, so if it is raining, take your own bin liner or large bag.

September 6th, 2013 - 2:35amFirstly the shape of the skit on those remote control Dalek’s are all wrong (too wide) and secondly the Asylum Dalek’s had bombs missing and red stickers, one had its sucker torn away in some past battle (EGGGGGGGGGS Dalek) this is a shame, could have been a brilliant product.

September 6th, 2013 - 2:30amI love the colouration of this but I agree with booboo’s advice…, it’s very probably worth hanging on as it will most likely come down in price. I’ll definitely pick one up at some point though!

September 5th, 2013 - 10:23pmI’ve almost given up with York TRU now. So slow to get the new stuff in, I doubt this will appear anytime soon, if ever. And the B&M listed for Clifton Moor doesn’t seem to even exist! (unless some kind York person can advise otherwise), so no RC Supreme either.

Very poor on 3.75″ stuff, one ice warrior, a few angels, one playset and that was it
