Character Options is proud to announce the next batch of products to be released as part of its Doctor Who master toy line up, with four new sets going on sale in B&M on March 4th, 2020.
These four new lines are the first of many new releases to be announced this year.
Revived from limited edition lines, these incredibly popular classic collection sets have been refreshed from their original releases with new and exciting features for fans to enjoy.
The Third Doctor & TARDIS from ‘The Monster of Peladon’ (£19.99), will make a welcome return as a 2020 version of the very popular 2018 B&M Third Doctor and TARDIS Set (the time monster).
This set features an exclusive figure of The Third Doctor in a splendid dark bottle green jacket with grey lapels, combined with a dark bow tie, a lime coloured shirt with dark edging and dark grey/brown trousers. The light blue TARDIS comes with standard opening doors and signage, a black phone door and the newer low-profile base. Perfect for all Doctor Who fans and collectors, the set comes beautifully presented in Classic Style Doctor Who heritage packaging with diorama insert card.

March 5th, 2020 - 5:54pmpossibly, but people also buy multiples for many different reasons, if its a short term policy to stop the initial ebay frenzy then fine, and as long as its also universal at ALL stores, but long a term policy could be quite damaging.

March 5th, 2020 - 6:07pmThat’s very unusual. If that’s the case I’m so glad I found out here or I’d have wandered around a few branches wondering why none had them (as I don’t have the confidence to approach staff and ask for things normally).
The rule about multiples doesn’t effect me, but the ‘under-the-counter’ style thing is new on me.
Wonder if that’s store wide or just a branch specific thing.
I actually think I like it.
I can see how it might not work for some and I’m sorry for them, but I can see real pros, too. Be interesting to see this play out.

March 5th, 2020 - 6:16pmIt’s interesting seeing the difference in approach from store to store, most I’ve asked in they don’t care if one person buys all the stock, or if several people buy individually. A sale is a sale in their eyes.

March 4th, 2020 - 9:12pmDisappointing. I’ve had a look at the 1966-onward TARDIS images on the website and this would have been better as a regeneration set with a grubby, faded, all-blue TARDIS from Spearhead from Space with a third doctor regeneration figure.
Surely The Monster of Peladon TARDIS should be exactly the same as the Robot TARDIS two stories later? The original prop was repainted and repaired only two stories before for Invasion of the Dinosaurs in 1974.

I have not seen any photo proof myself that any have reached stores yet
