Character Options is proud to announce the next batch of products to be released as part of its Doctor Who master toy line up, with four new sets going on sale in B&M on March 4th, 2020.
These four new lines are the first of many new releases to be announced this year.
Revived from limited edition lines, these incredibly popular classic collection sets have been refreshed from their original releases with new and exciting features for fans to enjoy.
The Third Doctor & TARDIS from ‘The Monster of Peladon’ (£19.99), will make a welcome return as a 2020 version of the very popular 2018 B&M Third Doctor and TARDIS Set (the time monster).
This set features an exclusive figure of The Third Doctor in a splendid dark bottle green jacket with grey lapels, combined with a dark bow tie, a lime coloured shirt with dark edging and dark grey/brown trousers. The light blue TARDIS comes with standard opening doors and signage, a black phone door and the newer low-profile base. Perfect for all Doctor Who fans and collectors, the set comes beautifully presented in Classic Style Doctor Who heritage packaging with diorama insert card.

March 4th, 2020 - 10:21amReally don’t know how to feel about these releases. One one hand at least the Tardis and doctor have been repainted and attributed to a new story with a reprinted box to reflect that
On the other hand we have the Doctor and Dalek figures repainted for a third time in just one year… to add insult to injury they are now the most accurate and well painted versions of those particular sets and far supercede the quality of the past versions… the problems is most of us already own and invested money in the past versions.
I’ve never been so on the fence about a release before

I’m not that bothered about a Dalek looking slightly more blue or the 7th Dr now smiling because he’s found his hat!

However, am I right in thinking the other 3 sets are the Big Finish variants that were originally only available from the BF site? If so, I recall the differences between these and the orginal sets being ever so slight.

some other differences as well essentially 3 different variant sets
