Character Options is proud to announce the next batch of products to be released as part of its Doctor Who master toy line up, with four new sets going on sale in B&M on March 4th, 2020.
These four new lines are the first of many new releases to be announced this year.
Revived from limited edition lines, these incredibly popular classic collection sets have been refreshed from their original releases with new and exciting features for fans to enjoy.
The Third Doctor & TARDIS from ‘The Monster of Peladon’ (£19.99), will make a welcome return as a 2020 version of the very popular 2018 B&M Third Doctor and TARDIS Set (the time monster).
This set features an exclusive figure of The Third Doctor in a splendid dark bottle green jacket with grey lapels, combined with a dark bow tie, a lime coloured shirt with dark edging and dark grey/brown trousers. The light blue TARDIS comes with standard opening doors and signage, a black phone door and the newer low-profile base. Perfect for all Doctor Who fans and collectors, the set comes beautifully presented in Classic Style Doctor Who heritage packaging with diorama insert card.

April 19th, 2024 - 12:51pmJust watched this story and, no offense to CO, but the colours on this figure are WAAAAY off. I looked through all the comments and am surprised no one mentioned it. The bow-tie and the jacket is forgivable as they’re in the right ballpark, but why’d they give him a blue shirt!? It’s blatantly and vibrantly green in that story and I’m pretty sure it’s the only time he wears a green shirt. Missed opportunity.

June 11th, 2020 - 1:22pmWhy would they design this with an option to put batteries in at the back and a place for batteries and you can’t even open the flap without literally breaking the whole TARDIS? The visual is lovely but just make the TARDIS either with or without battery facility. It confuses everyone!
If its non-electronic, then design it as a 4 sided box. Do you all get what I’m saying?

The originals were electronic hence the compartment, its the only reason you get these “budget sets” at all

June 11th, 2020 - 1:59pmIt was originally designed as a Electronic toy, that’s why it has the battery compartment, but in recent years it’s been re-issued without the Electronics. It’d be cool if they did retool future versions not to have the battery box, but it’s not really too noticeable, especially because the back is usually against a wall anyway.

June 15th, 2020 - 12:05pmMy only grip with these, and it IS minor, is I’d love the card interior. Even if it came separately and you had to cut and insert yourself, or was part of the box. I know you do them booboo and that’s great but I don’t have a decent printer.

Or are we waiting until Character Options makes their official announcement?
