Figurine Collection Magazine Tardis Console #1 The 4th Doctor
Available for the first time in the Doctor Who Figurine Collection, Eaglemoss Hero Collector proudly presents the TARDIS console.
The Fourth Doctor’s console has been faithfully recreated, and hand-painted, capturing every button, from the speaker grills to the door control.
Comes complete with a magazine detailing this console’s place in history. We look at the making of the ever-changing TARDIS console that appeared in the series from 1977 to 1983.

April 14th, 2019 - 11:56pmThank you, Managed to get the “New15” to work in the end, was applying the code and the discount appeared but reverted when I continued with the filling in the details but appeared again when I was paid for the item.
Super pleased I’ve managed to purchase this and just hope they make some more! 🙂

April 22nd, 2019 - 7:46amSame Here. Placed the order with FP in May 2018 and been waiting ever since. If they’re not going to get any I’d prefer to be told so I can go elsewhere.
I rather object to being informed months later then having to pay a premium to get it elsewhere.

December 15th, 2018 - 10:37pmThe bad news is that sadly the consoles are out of scale witht he 5 inch figures, but those who may have got the 3.5 inch figures have finally got a console in scale with the figures

April 7th, 2019 - 12:17amThey’d have to do 12s with the 3 tier spinny thing at the top or else it would look weird

December 1st, 2018 - 1:25pmeasily i would have thought considering the amount of work that goes into these consoles
Bicky
December 2nd, 2018 - 4:08pmConsidering they are all hand painted, that seems quite cheap.

December 6th, 2018 - 11:47amIt made me gulp a bit, but I know there’s been a tremendous amount of work that’s gone into the console model. I hope you like the magazine that’s with it. It’s packed with info from Gavin Rymill, who really knows his onions.

December 1st, 2018 - 11:49amThe version visible on the Eaglemoss website has the internal column workings far too low down in the column. I hope it’s corrected on the production models.

November 30th, 2018 - 11:38amJust got an email from Forbidden Planet saying this has been delayed till the end of February but it’s on Eaglemoss’s website to buy now?

November 30th, 2018 - 11:47amwell assuming EM do actually have them (i think we would have heard by now if they didn’t) Its the same thing with the companion sets, about a 2 month gap between EM and FP
Kevin
November 30th, 2018 - 2:28pmThanks, makes sense to get sales for themselves first. 🙂

December 5th, 2018 - 12:34pmSome one has posted a photo of their copy (mag with boxed console model) on the Collections facebook page and said they bought theirs in a shop (didn’t say which/where) so stocks are getting out there now.

November 30th, 2018 - 11:04amAre they for subscribers 🙂 ?
booboo
November 30th, 2018 - 11:11amno, bonus editions so you have to buy separately
Kevin
November 30th, 2018 - 5:54amShame it’s not a proper collection on it’s own now, would’ve liked to see all the different consoles on my display space…, looking forward to getting this one though at least. 🙂 Assuming it’s taken too long to get it approved or/and made that’s the reason for it being only a bonus item now?
The Outcast
November 30th, 2018 - 6:21amI thought the consoles were getting their own range though…
Gareth Pugh
November 30th, 2018 - 8:10amI suspect this is to test the water and if it does well there will be more. I also think since the way K9 was released – variously describes by them as a ‘bonus’ release and (on its magazine) ‘special issue’ I think Eaglemoss’s naming systems are getting a bit blurred and I wouldn’t take the fact that this doesn’t now have its own ‘range name’ as a signthry won’t make more.
Kevin
November 30th, 2018 - 8:11amYes, they were but BoBo has mentioned they’ve changed it to bonuses rather than a range like the original plan was, hopefully they’ll still make plenty as it’d be a real missed opportunity otherwise I feel. 🙁
Exterminator
November 29th, 2018 - 8:16pmNeil Corry and all at Eaglemoss if you’re reading this, please do a mega console range that’s in scale with the 5” action figures and come complete with cardboard roundel wall backgrounds and doors.
I’ve got cash waiting!
Doctor Mysterio
November 29th, 2018 - 9:35pmI don’t think they’ll make them to scale another company’s range…
Exterminator
November 30th, 2018 - 1:10amI don’t see why not, they’ve got the licence to make the consoles so I would imagine they can decide how big they make them. Character Options loss could be Eaglemoss gain as I’d put money on them being big sellers.
Doctor Mysterio
November 30th, 2018 - 3:38amThey’ll probably want to make them to scale to their own range of figurines. But I like the idea of then doing TARDIS walls with roundalls in to make up the set…
The Outcast
November 30th, 2018 - 6:25amI’d love it if they did make full 5″ scale control consoles, but I sadly doubt it’ll ever happen. These are in scale with the 3.75 figures though, so yay…?
David
November 30th, 2018 - 12:06pmThey want £20 for this.
How much do you think they’d want for one in scale with the 5″ figures???
CO had one designed about 10 years ago (well, it feels like 10 years), but sadly it never happened.
I guess it’s unlikely to know, but a classic console room kit would be great.
Anonymous
December 3rd, 2018 - 11:21amDavid, the 2 mega Daleks eaglemoss have done are £80-£90 and K-9 is over £100 so a mega console priced at £50-£70 with roundel background walls and doors shouldn’t be too unrealistic of a price.
BringBackTheFoamasi
November 29th, 2018 - 7:54pmMan, I’m sure these will sell out really quickly.

November 29th, 2018 - 6:47pmWill other consoles be added to the run.

November 29th, 2018 - 6:56pmsupposedly but they have changes this from a collection to bonus editions
