New stories set within the era of the Virgin New Adventures books. Like how big finish make new stories set around the tv show its the same here but with books

New stories set within the New Adventures timeline.
They did a Novel Adaptations series (where they remade some of the Virgin 4th and 7th Doctor novels as audio dramas) but unfortunately it didn’t sell well enough to continue (particularly as Big Finish had to pay for the rights to the storylines etc so they were expensive to make) so they are using the characters in original stories instead.

The remakes of the new adventures didn’t sell well, that’s a bit sad. I really enjoyed Cold Fusion

Anonymous, I absolutely loved the novel adaptions it’s a shame that they didn’t sell well as I think they could of gone further with them & by now we could of been on the 30th release!

They’re also adapting the dwm comics from the iron legion and onwards

Well this looks amazing. My one tiny complaint is that I personally would have preferred two 4 parters, but I can’t complain really about having four new Chris and Roz stories.

I do believe that the 4 stories are 2 parters, whilst the dwm adaptations are 4 parters.

Which is why I said I would have preferred two 4 parters
