February 21st, 2018 - 10:56pmDon’t get me wrong. I understand the pricing and yes compared to the US its cheaper. I just personally don’t tend to spend more than £10-£12 on a t-shirt usually. This is a “treat” item for me.

February 21st, 2018 - 10:21am£17.99 or basically £18 is a bit steep for one t-shirt. I love Doctor Who, but am giving this a miss. I wonder though, if the Bill Potts figure’s box will have the Jodie Whittaker logo on it or the Peter Capaldi logo on it, seeing as Bill is from series 10 and Twice Upon A Time.

February 21st, 2018 - 10:34amYes, that is a rather high price. Also, as a graphic designer I find the new logo rather feeble (I’m being polite). But everyone will doubtless have their own views on the subject!

February 21st, 2018 - 11:53amreally depends on what the BBC want, they might insist all new merchandise has the new branding now who knows just a picture of the figure would be good at this point

All I can expect is the new logo will be on everything to do with the 13th Doctor.
Then there’s a possibility it may be used on everything full stop. They might do this just to get their branding iconography sorted because it’s so messy and needs a fresh stamp.
But that would be a shame if they release anymore Steelbooks, or for example if the Bill Figure has that on.
Personally, anything thing that is a continuation of already release products (such as steelbooks) should keep the Pertwee/McGann logo, and any left over products from the 12th Doctor era should too. And that includes any new classic DVD/Blu-ray releases too.
Then wipe the slate clean, go with the new logo on everything.

February 22nd, 2018 - 12:59pmThat’s why I never wear Doctor Who T-Shirts. They don’t EVER have any sized for the bloaters amongst us. Much as I like a plethora of T-Shirts to wear Doctor Who (& others) always seem to be ‘skinny fit’ or XL & that’s it!

And I think it’s a given that CO will be doing a 5″ scale one. Even if it’s just a one off and not part of a wave.

in the first instance i expect the initial uptake to be good but i suppose it depends on sales on the shop floor as to what happens in the future
