The Doctor-Master (the tenth iteration of him, anyway) reactivated Sarah Jane’s K9 Mark III, which had broken down over the years with no one available to repair him, lest any humans see his interior parts and change the course of history.

The Doctor-Master must have missed that shooty dog thing quite a bit, since he later he build another model just to hang around the TARDIS as a pet.

K-9 and the Doctor are together again on the front of this black 100% cotton ladies’ t-shirt.
