Dr Who Figurine Collection #104 Dalek Caan

Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.

All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered. The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.

Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.

The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years. This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

I agree with the weathering comments. Also it could have benefitted from maybe having the 2 chains secured to the base? They look a little odd just ‘dangling’ free…..

I was hoping the chains would be like the Clara Dalek ones

Yeah same, they’re also too clean whereas the Oswin Dalek ones were rusted

Got this on Tuesday, it’s a great sculpt but it seriously needed some weathering.

Definetly it looks like a Dalek that’s been gently disassembled rather than ripped apart by emergency temperal shift

I love this one. Now they’ve sculpted the bottom part of an open dalek casing, I wonder if we’ll get the mutant reveal one?

I really hope so, might be a good idea for a special Dalek

I’d love Eaglemoss to do a mega mutant reveal Dalek as I was never lucky enough to get the WETA one.

This isn’t a CO figure where parts are swapped out. If they make a new figure they have to start from scratch. Dalek Caan doesn’t make a mutant reveal Dalek any easier.

They’ll still go for every Dalek ever though (within reason obviously).

I’m hoping we get an asylum dalek and a mutent reveal dalek

One thing that bothers me is ironically it looks brighter and so cleaner than the original bronze dalek with the colour apps

Disappointed that the slats haven’t been painted gold like on the prototype and it would have greatly benefited from being weathered. But I’m still happy to have it at all.

The paint apps make it look cartoony. In need of some weathering

I’m sure I saw a prototype of a 5″ Damaged Dalek Caan back when the series 4 figures were still coming out and I remember being gutted that it never got released

It was a custom not a prototype. But I was also hoping for it to get released

I don’t think it’s spelt Dalek Kaan. I think it’s spelt Dalek Caan.
