One of my customers ordered this through the Diamond Previews catalog, and it is missing a finger. They will also contact Eaglemoss directly, but i figured I would post here to see if anyone has had the same missing piece.

I have a shop in Illinois. One of my customers got one, and it was missing a finger. They are going to contact Eaglemoss directly, but I wanted to post here as well. It was ordered through Diamond Comic distribution.

I’d buy one if the quality of the figurines wasn’t so inconsistent. There were a lot of complaints about the mega daleks

not seen one complaint on here, and people love to complain on here

The only niggle I have with my MEGA skaro dalek is the crease line that appears on the front of the skirt between the hemispheres, I can’t complain though as I was aware of the creases as they show on the preview images of the dalek, I just waited for a sale on the collections shop and bought mine at a discounted price

The Dalek’s I got are both much better quality than the small figurines, no paint issues on either that I can see & they are both very impressive.

I’m pretty sure there were lots of complaints on here about the bronze one, as it was completely inaccurate and the majority of people claimed that it was overpriced – however the Skaro one was an improvement in quality.

its easy too look at other statues over the years as price per size ratio to see these are on par

People are just far to used to mass produced prices

I saw the complaints on their Facebook page mainly. And that bronze one was pretty poor for the price

My Mega Cyberman arrived yesterday, numbered 005 of 300, the paintwork and sculpt is ‘excellent’, I was surprised with how heavy it is when I compare its weight to the mega daleks., I’m really pleased with it

I’ve ordered this beauty, it was the limited run of 300 which swayed me to order it asap, I usually wait until a sale and as I really like it I wouldn’t want to miss out on it just to save a few quid, I used the eaglemoss10 code so ended up paying £89.99

What person would order that at that price because the oversized emperor Dalek is much cheaper

the emperor was mass produced, the Harrop figure in 8″ and £69 these are 12″

The Sixteen 12 cybermen were £100 and limited to 500 several years ago

its all relative as is the pricing

either buy it or not, the choice is yours

For me, it’s the wrong Cyberman at the wrong price. Much prefer the Harrop one.

Bear in mind that FP were also the first to put the last Mega Statue up for pre-order and their price was about £50 more than Eaglemoss eventually released it for, so take FP’s initial prices with a pinch of salt on these.

If scaling for material only, 8 times the price would double the scale (double the height, double the width, double the depth). This is bigger than that, so is completely reasonable as a price point.

For the amount of material, they should cost about £40 – £45 when compared to the other figurines not £85.

they probably make around 5,000 of the small ones and these are only 300

      its all relative

I’m looking forward to the Mega Cyberman coming out, I already gave the Mega Skaro dalek and Mega Bronze dalek and I’m pleased with both of them, I waited until Eaglemoss were having a sale when I got the daleks and using the EAGLEMOSS10 code I managed to get them for £69 each

Price is bound to be above £70 because Eaglemoss really are money milkers.

They did it with the Daleks, and both have received generally negative feedback from what I’ve heard.

I really do wanna get this though. Cybermen are my favourite.

Both of the Dalek’s although over priced are very nicely made & have decent paint jobs, they should be under £50 in my opinion but I’m still happy I have them. I expect the Cyberman will be £85 also, same as the Dalek’s even though I’d prefer it was the cheaper price you mentioned.

Almost certainly not. That price is going to add up very quickly and there’s not going to be all that much demand for some of them especially when there’s over 40 variants all in all.

If you want a complete set, the smaller scale is probably your best bet.

    • 7thwhovlogs

      March 11th, 2017 - 6:41pm

Nah, the smaller ones are poor quality. I was only asking because I want a Tomb, Earthshock and Nemesis in this scale

maybe you should have a word with your local sorting office then to see how they are treating the mail then as i have not had one broken one in the entire collection .

I’ve had a couple of items turn up that have been broken but not many compared to how many have been sent to me.

      March 10th, 2017 - 9:41pm

I agree with Booboo. I’ve had just one turn up broken which was a Dalek with a snapped eye stalk.EM replaced it (eventually) so there was no harm done.

      March 11th, 2017 - 12:48pm

Yeah mine have all mostly been fine, out of the 90 or so there have only been 2 or 3 that have arrived damage – and Eaglemoss have replaced them relatively promptly.

Bit dissapointing they’re using exactly the same pose as the normal figure but looks cool. Can’t wait to get this – think its out on July 6?

The tenth planet variant would’ve been slightly more relevant to do this year what with their return. I personally havent liked this iron man design, it’s too plageristic, especially after they flew and the danny pink cyberman took his face plate off just like iron man himself.
There needs to be more flesh in the design as the original inspired, we need to get away from the terminator/iron man themes and build something scary.
