Dr Who Figurine Collection Special 08 The Mire
The Mire is available to order individually from www.forbiddenplanet.com
Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.
All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered. The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.
Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.
The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years. This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

June 24th, 2016 - 6:14pmIt’s a Mechanoid from the First Doctor era story ‘The Chase’ out in Mid October. If you want to see pictures, check out the Collection’s Facebook page. Earlier this year, the magazine’s editor also suggested that a Krynoid special WS in the works.

June 24th, 2016 - 6:34pmgot to admit as a collector i wish they would be a bit brave and give us something we have not had before

June 24th, 2016 - 7:20pmPersonally I think the Mechonoids are a pretty major part of Who history..their episode was climactic and I thing they have to be included in a set ‘representative of fifty years’ of Doctor Who…the problem is an disproportionate number of specials have been nu-who based as has the series itself.
We should by now have a yeti and a war machine and a drashig would make novel inlcusions…
Hartnell Troughton and Pertwee have been woefully neglected and anyone who claims a fair balance between classic and nu-who simply has no grasp of mathematics.

June 26th, 2016 - 9:50amThanks, shame it wasn’t something not in the 5″ line of figures. I would love a war machine or a yeit.

June 23rd, 2016 - 10:09pmBrilliant figurine although I admit I didn’t understand how they could have immortality technology better than the time lords, plus at the end of the universe we didn’t see any Mire just the Viking girl that became an annoying brat rather than wise like the face of boe. Either way I do like the concept how the whole suit appears to be a mech suit for the vicious tape worm like alien inside

June 23rd, 2016 - 10:17pmThe Doctor used the chip differently from how it was normally used. Clearly the Mire didn’t think to do the same.
