DOCTOR WHO – THE COMPLETE HISTORY goes behind the TV cameras to document the making of the world’s longest running science fiction series from 1963 to the present day.
Scripts, casting, film locations, studio recordings, broadcast, ratings and merchandise are all covered in detail for each and every adventure, along with full story details and profiles of the cast and crew, all illustrated by a wealth of colour and black and white photographs.

May 8th, 2016 - 11:29amDisappointed that Shada is not going to be included according to the series overview. I know it was never broadcast but it did go through a pre-production and production stage and there had been post production with the video and dvd release along with merchandise related to it. It’s not really the “Complete history” if something is missing is it?

May 30th, 2016 - 7:46amAgreed. They should have covered it. It was released on DVD & footage used in “The 5 Doctors”. It could have been the ‘definitive’ back-story (As the ‘Complete History’ is supposed to be) on the problems of it’s Production & the subsequent tale of where it ended up. A missed opportunity really. But then this ‘Complete History’ is also void because further episodes/series will be made long after this publication has ceased to be produced so will only really cover Doctors 1-12.
