booboo
August 28th, 2014 - 9:35pmask Eaglemoss
you would have though they would have had the courtesy to tell their loyal UK subscribers via the website instead of stuff popping up on some USA website
the lack of info is starting to get annoying
The Figure Adventurer
August 28th, 2014 - 5:56pmStill waiting on 20, 21, 22 and 23.

August 28th, 2014 - 12:28pmWait… If missy is an alien then we could have a figurine of her..
Anonymous
August 28th, 2014 - 3:08pmThey could release a figure of her even if she is human. As long as the character has appeared on the TV show they can make it (even the Kandyman).
Dave
August 28th, 2014 - 12:17amI like the Draconians, but i do not like the look of this figure at all
doctor who crazy ross
August 28th, 2014 - 2:09amI quite like it to be honest.
But you have to take into consideration that this is “a very early look” which could mean that it still has work to be done to help improve it before it goes on sale.

August 28th, 2014 - 6:59pmIt’s more likely that this is pretty much like what we’ll get, just that it is a long way away (it will probably be next year before we see it after all).

August 27th, 2014 - 10:41pmRead something interesting, apparently the Star Trek starships collection has started something where collectors can set up petitions for certain figures they want and if enough signatures are gathered they’ll do the figure.
I think they said 5000 would absolutely guarantee it, which is quite high but I wonder if something similar could be attempted for the Doctor Who collection, particularly the companions as we know they aren’t being planned at the moment (Sarah Jane Smith is an obvious candidate).
Trenzalore
August 27th, 2014 - 10:49pmCompanions would be a very bad idea in my opinion, we’ve seen human figures aren’t really their strong point, we’d just get a load of people on here saying how bad they look like with the Doctors so I think they should just stick to Monsters which as the pic above shows, are getting better and better.
I like the whole petition idea though, maybe a one off companion would do.
Anonymous
August 27th, 2014 - 11:06pmThe companions were just because we know they aren’t being planned so it would be to avoid any clashes with future plans (which would render the petition pointless as we would be getting it anyway). But we have seen Eccelston now, their “human” characters are improving as well. Still not quite at the monster level but if the Doctors carry on as they are it may seem more plausible.
Perhaps something else could be picked though. It would have to be a very popular character to get the 5000 necessary signatures (Daleks and Cybermen are obvious).
The Werewolf
August 27th, 2014 - 11:15pmI really hope they don’t start doing figurines of companions. It would be a terrible waste. All those awesome monsters we would be denied because some people want figurines of humans instead. If you want figurines of humans maybe this is not the right collection for you.
Leaving companions aside, having people vote/sign for future monsters to be considered for figurines would probably be a good idea. We could finally get a Yeti and the Rani for example (providing 5000 isn’t the number needed). On the other hand, I’m not sure it’d work for Who.
Trenzalore
August 27th, 2014 - 11:16pmGood point there, the 9th Doctor was a fantastic figure. Maybe when they release more Doctor figures it might be more likely.

August 27th, 2014 - 11:22pm@The Werewolf
5000 was the number to 100% guarantee it, a lower number could still be enough if they like the idea and think it could do well.
The Werewolf
August 28th, 2014 - 12:22amIn that case then, it may be a great idea. It’d let ‘um know what would sell well, and let buyers get what they want. Seems like a win-win, but there’s always a catch.

August 28th, 2014 - 2:03amI want the half faced man figurine. Who’s sign my petition? (please be nice and don’t say no) haha

August 28th, 2014 - 3:07pmIt’s a possible special, and one they haven’t ruled out, but it isn’t on their plans at the moment.

August 31st, 2014 - 2:43pmThe petition was set up by TheTrekCollective (8of5) after he interviewed Ben Robinson about adding ships that hadnt appeared on TV. For example, the NX 1.5 and the USS Titan. Ben said that if 5000 people solemnly promised to buy the special issue Titan, it would be made. This was for a special issue btw. So, i guess if you really wanted a specific special issue, ask and see.

August 27th, 2014 - 10:10pmLove the draconians, so well designed especially within a 1970s BBC budget easily one of my favourite Doctor Who aliens. Might have to get this.

August 27th, 2014 - 6:45pmThis looks great. Probably, 34. Love how they are beginning to make more classic monsters, shame they haven’t done any other doctors apart from Tom.
Explosive Cookie
August 28th, 2014 - 9:04amUhhh, they’ve done John, Chris, David and Matt too, or did you mean other classic doctors?
Doctor RevWho
August 27th, 2014 - 5:16pmVery very good. If only Character Options made a figure like this.
Doctor RevWho
August 28th, 2014 - 1:14amI’ve kind of stopped collecting these, but this is really good and I’d be willing to get this one.
The Werewolf
August 27th, 2014 - 4:35pmSimply awesome. Was coming here to post link to it and all and to my surprise it’s already here. Nice figurine, I wonder if it’s issue 34 or 36.
The Werewolf
August 27th, 2014 - 4:50pmAlso with , the Gunslinger, Cyber King, Emperor Dalek and Oswin Dalek that makes 5 figures CO have never done. Interesting.
the astronaut of death
August 27th, 2014 - 4:15pmthis looks good
I don’t really choose to get these and since there is so much I will have no where to put them I might get the twelfth doctor thought

the astronaut of death
August 27th, 2014 - 4:19pmare the figurines put into waves?
Trenzalore
August 27th, 2014 - 4:22pmThey do take up so much room, going down to B&M later this week to get some more shelves 😆 But they do look really good all together.
Anonymous
August 27th, 2014 - 5:04pmI think booboo mixed it up with the 3.75” figures there, Twelfth Doctor will come at some point in the range, when is a mystery (at the moment we only know up to 32 for certain, with 35 as well).
luke kelly
August 28th, 2014 - 9:29amU mean there is 2 different batches of wave 3 figures? What was the first, and what is the second?
Clarafan123
August 28th, 2014 - 9:47amFor the character options 3.75″ figures
Wave 3a:
-amy
-10th doc
-genesis Dalek
-asylum Dalek
And all we know is for wave 3a we will get
-12th doc with red lining showing
-12th doc without red lining showing
-imperial Dalek
I can’t think of any more

August 28th, 2014 - 9:51amThank you very much… That explains why I haven’t found peter capaldi =)) he’s not out yet
doctor what
August 27th, 2014 - 4:02pmThis does look pretty good
Trenzalore
August 27th, 2014 - 3:58pmIt looks so good! You can’t get anymore classic Doctor Who than this 😆 Actually thought it was one of those Robert Harrop figures at first, let’s hope it looks just as good when we get it. Brilliant story they’re from too – one of my favourites.
Whovastron
August 27th, 2014 - 3:58pmone of the few good looking ones. these figures are very low quality for their price. the paints always sloppy and the sculpting always off. i really wanted to collect these but i see them in shops and just get put off.
TW.
Doctor Who Crazy Ross
August 27th, 2014 - 9:58pmI have to say Whovastron, as a subscriber I have had only a few bad quality paint jobs but apart from that they are very brilliant and especially high quality for their size, I mean I know this is a rubbish comparison cos of what they both are but just look at the 3.75″ Eleventh Doctor and the Eleventh Doctor Figurine and how different they look quality wise.
Trenzalore
August 27th, 2014 - 10:03pmAgree with that, the only bad figures I’ve had is few human figures, the monsters have all been perfect.
booboo
August 27th, 2014 - 10:03pmi cant fault the last few deliveries to be honest
DocEke
August 28th, 2014 - 12:28pmSadly my Skaro Dalek was rubbish. The paint was so bad it looks like a grey blob. AND the plunger fell of. Tut tut eaglemoss

i think they are finding their feet as the last few releases have been spot on
the monsters are wonderful

August 28th, 2014 - 1:14pmYes, I agree with you there. Christopher Eccleston looks perfect, apart from the ears. They should be huge.

August 27th, 2014 - 3:27pmthat draconian looks brilliant! finally a figurine that i’m really excited to get!!
