April 24th, 2014 - 2:11pmThe figures are continually low quality that are either damaged in the post or shockingly badly painted. The daleks (any dalek) are the worst of the bunch.
A read of the comments on their Facebook page and the photos displayed will show how bad it is. I am an unfortunate subscriber and it is very frustrating situation.

January 19th, 2014 - 7:46pmOut of 10 figures sent to you, you will probably get 1-2 (3 if your unlucky) that aren’t very good quality and mainly human figures. But most are satisfactory, also they are quite helpful when it comes for asking for a new one and you can cancel any time. Also there is a lot of rare things for subscribers that could be worth a lot in future.
The only problem a lot have had is their delivery service (although I haven’t experienced it) but they seem to be learning from their mistakes (I think).

And you should have got an email about the emperor, it has been delayed and will come at the end of the month.

January 4th, 2014 - 10:41amAll the blue domes on mine are precisely painted without any splodges. A small couple of areas in the railing around the head not completely covered and the Dalek eye is just a pin size rather than a full spot but overall it look OK.
Have you seen the price its going for on ebay?

I’m pleased with it though, I can live with the eyestalk issue because the rest of it is immaculate. Oh, and, I’ve seen some of the real horror stories on the FB page… perhaps that’s why I deem mine to be quite well painted, lol. 😛

I’m writing to say how unhappy I was when I received my first subscriber Dalek,
the black one from the Daleks master plan.
The paint job on it was just awful and it looked rushed and not something I would
want to display.
How do I go about exchanging it for a better one please?

If they don’t get the emperor dalek right and loads of people cancel their subscriptions, it could mean eaglemoss shut the whole thing down early if it starts loosing money. All the more reason to get on top of the quality control and stop sending out badly painted figurines.

January 4th, 2014 - 1:24pmI got one the skirt is ok, but the top section is really badly paint, looks like it been just slapped on Willy nilly. Its a shame because they say these are limited edition so would have thought they could have made them presentable. Also I have had other figure that are not painted to good.

One figure is from the subscription and one from the shops, I was just wondering are the subscribers figures sculpted slightly differently to the ones in the shops

January 5th, 2014 - 1:17pmNo, I don’t think so, it’s just that the quality control on these is to variable it’s unbelievable!
I managed to find a Sontaran in the shops that was pretty much perfect but then no luck with the 10th Doctor and I ended up buying one that looks like he’s in the process of falling over!
It’s a real shame the quality of these are so hit and miss as this could have been an amazing collection.
