The Offers were (Supposedly?) only Valid for the Saturday (Doctors) & Sunday (The Daleks)…

November 28th, 2013 - 8:08pmWhen I went to my local WHSmith’s yesterday they gave me 23rd’s set and 24th’s set, so next time you go to WHSmith, ask at the counter for them with the token (if u have one)

November 24th, 2013 - 3:41pmFor both yesterday’s and today’s had to go to over 6 of the specified shops before finding one that the right cards or any on the right day.
After visiting over 80 shops in South East England to get 12 Radio Times, now having to collect these otherwise superb cards is just too much.
Does anyone know if there are more to collect Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday etc?

November 24th, 2013 - 6:41pmNothing mentioned in either Sat/Sun’s paper after reading both articles, about it’s continuance next week – But I’m still going to check just in case. Especially as both of these were 1-Day-Only Offers with no mail-in option either.
From what I could gather on my travels, they weren’t that interested in which card they gave out or when, either didn’t have them & weren’t that interested in collecting the vouchers from you. In fact if I was a scalper I could have just as easily wandered into another shop & redeemed them there again as well…

Agree about “care”; having challenged one shop as to where they were, I went to another, bought a paper I don’t need to get the “card” from a reluctant vendor, only to go back to the original shop to get it for nothing with an irrelevant purchase.
Witnessing that most “The Sun” buyers really dont give a toss for some Who cards, it is amazing the reluctance to get one when you do ask for it.

Unfortunately they had given out all the Dalek ones yesterday incorrectly & were giving out the Doctor’s one today – Duh! Had to go round the corner to Tesco & get the correct ones there instead…

Bought the newspaper then asked for the cards – they didn’t take the voucher off me, so 10 mins later my g/f went in and asked for the cards and they game her the dalek set…. then gave her the voucher back too!

Soon as WHSmiths opened at 9AM further up the road I was straight in there seeing as they were only valid for today. Obviously I shall have to get up early tomorrow to get the Dalek set…
