Commencing from May; 11 limited edition commemorative twin packs will be launched, each featuring a different Doctor together with the Dalek design that he faced in his adventures.
The first three packs will be available to pre-order from 1st May and comprise of;
The Second Doctor played by Patrick Troughton and the Silver and Blue Dalek he faced in Evil of the Daleks.
The Sixth Doctor played by Colin Baker and the White and Gold Dalek he encountered in Revelation of the Daleks.
The Tenth doctor played by David Tennant and the formidable Bronze Dalek that attempted to exterminate the universe in The Stolen Earth.
The 5-inch figure sets are incredibly detailed and expected to be hotly sought after by fans. Each set is only available for a limited time, and will be replaced by another three sets from this unique series in the summer, details of which will be announced soon.

June 10th, 2013 - 11:29pmOnly sets I’m interested in are the 3rd,8th and 9th because they’re all new Dalek variants
I was thinking the special planet Dalek could be a replica of the ones they used for the ice volcano eruption,8th is a nice change since we haven’t had a comic figure released before as far as I know, the 9th is the one with the special gun that I have always wanted a 5″ release of but before it was only released as a Rare remote control 16″ Dalek
RastonEd
May 23rd, 2013 - 9:01pmAround about the same time as planet of the daleks, there was a comic adaptation of it. Could the special dalek to appear in the third doctor set be from the comic version cos there were some cool black and red variants

May 19th, 2013 - 7:48pmI wonder when they will be available in America…
I am the Doctor I am
May 28th, 2013 - 2:50pmToys r Us UK exclusive only, not America
Dalek The Supreme
May 28th, 2013 - 3:37pmDang! I wish Doctor Who figures would get a wide release in America too…
JaffaCakes
May 14th, 2013 - 9:08pmI wonder perhaps if the 3rd Doctor’s ‘very interesting’ Dalek is a 5″ replica of one of the Marx toys the BBC used in that story? Just a thought… 💡

May 9th, 2013 - 7:15amSo does that mean the children of revolution is officaly canon?
McGann is the Doctor
May 9th, 2013 - 11:08amAs opposed to what ?
Anonymous
May 9th, 2013 - 8:16pmAbsolutely not. It is only officially canon if it has been “broadcast” by the BBC which is a bit difficult for a comic strip (it could be done if it was put on the BBC website).
All we can gather from this release is that Co now have the rights to the DWM comic strips for making figures, it has nothing to do with canon.
The Driver
May 11th, 2013 - 8:21amSo why do a figure from a comic
Hellbelly
May 11th, 2013 - 10:00amThe subject of “canon” is a very vague one when it comes to Doctor Who.
There’s no “official” definition, unlike Star Trek (where only the TV series and films are considered canon).
Considering the writers of the 8th Doctor’s comics stories worked very closely with the BBC, especially towards the end of the run, just before the new series started (originally 8 would have regenerated into 9 in the comic, but the BBC wanted the “reveal” to happen on tv) I’d say that unless it’s contradicted by the TV series it can be considered “canon”.

May 12th, 2013 - 12:07pmAny way the hand has being talk about by the 10th doctor.
videogamemad00
May 12th, 2013 - 9:58pmI only class what’s on TV as canon because it would be hard to keep up with all the comics, books etc.
The Monitor
May 14th, 2013 - 5:16pmI think after TV the nearest to canon we get is audio. It is hard not to consider some canonicity gained from so many Paul McGann audios.

May 8th, 2013 - 8:32pmAny news on when the other sets will be announced?
booboo
May 8th, 2013 - 8:33pmno i think they will want to concentrate on the 1st 3 for a while
Tardis’nt
May 8th, 2013 - 8:46pmOk, I hope that they at least reveal pictures of some of the others
booboo
May 8th, 2013 - 8:49pmi think at the moment they wont want to divert attention a way for the 1st 3, some of the others are highly desirable
Tardis’nt
May 8th, 2013 - 8:53pmAh, so they want to get these less desirable ones sold out, then release the ones that everyone will buy?
booboo
May 8th, 2013 - 9:00pmnot necessarily, i think the 10th Doctor one with the weathering is fantastic, each set will have its ups and downs, I just think they will want to get the ball rolling with the 1st 3 actually in stock and selling before showing you any of the others.
The 8th Doctor one will be huge, as will the 1st probably now they have changed it and when everyone sees the 3rd they will say “What the heck is that, i just have to have me one of those”
Tardis’nt
May 8th, 2013 - 9:12pmOk, thanks. I really want to know what the 3rd dr & dalek set it though

Angel Of Death
May 3rd, 2013 - 10:38pmI am going to this dr who thing tomorow in spaceport
drjakeyoung
May 3rd, 2013 - 9:11pmWhy limited edition? I don’t have any money left (currently) so i cant get it the minute it comes out, and in this case it is gonna sell out quickly and why £19.99? I tell you why, so they could use the “limited edition” sticker to put the price up to £19.99! I am not complaining, it’s just i cant get these sets because of the fact they look like they will sell out quickly!
Radburn
May 3rd, 2013 - 10:00pmI think you’ve hit the nail on the head!
But I really don’t think they will sell out – I’m sure they will be ‘Limited’ to as many people who want to buy one & I’m sure they will at the ‘reasonable’ price of £19.99…
booboo
May 3rd, 2013 - 10:05pmI’m still not convinced they will stay at that price – legally they have to offer it at the higher price for a while to show a reduction.
having said that some of the variants are worth £19.99 to people but others are way of the mark
drjakeyoung
May 3rd, 2013 - 10:02pmwell hopefully if they are still around in the next couple of months i can afford some of them.
drjakeyoung
May 3rd, 2013 - 10:07pmi am willing when i have the money to pay for the ones i haven’t got, but not the ones i already have if you know what i mean.
Kroton
May 4th, 2013 - 8:55amTo be fair figures are £9.99 each and you get two figures in this set, so that’s £19.98, so it’s only one penny more! At least their not £25 or something!
Dalek Smith
May 3rd, 2013 - 8:41pmhooray at last the hartnell dalek family is complete
The Driver
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:17pmI hope these are not £20!
booboo
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:18pmthey are, seems like they are going for the limited angle unless they drop the price in store, having said that there are some very nice variants coming up
The Driver
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:21pmCool. Do you know any sites that could possibly give you discounts on toys r us products, I mean like something you print and show them?
Radburn
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:22pmRead the blurb above £19.99 – It’s the most hilariously funny advertising I’ve read in ages!
Anonymous
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:26pmI have wanted a dalek supreme from master plan for ages, probably years I am vary exited for that set!
Radburn
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:40pmI love how the ‘casual fan’ has disappeared & ‘collectors’ has crept in & with Exclusive now becoming Exclusive ‘Limited’ & that will be £220 please…
The Driver
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:42pmSpecial meaning to them??? It’s just a really cool set, not treasure or a photo.
Radburn
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:51pmBest Sellers: 1st./8th./9th./10th./11th.
Variant Daleks
Peg Warmers: 2nd./3rd./4th./5th./6th./7th.
booboo
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:53pmwouldn’t bank on the 3rd
Radburn
May 3rd, 2013 - 4:58pmTo be honest, Pertwee’s has a better chance of going into the Best Sellers – Particularly as this year’s Classic Range with the Brigadier & Jo have been good sellers!
Nelsonator
May 5th, 2013 - 5:24pmI think the price is a bit stupid but good, if i was selling these then i would sell them between £10 – £15 for just two figures
Dalek the Supreme
May 3rd, 2013 - 1:31pmHey, they changed the Hartnell Dalek! Still looks good, though I was kind of hoping for the Dead Planet Dalek…
Nelsonator
May 5th, 2013 - 5:27pmMe too, i wanted to get another dead planet dalek but they changed to a supreme dalek from the daleks master plan, but i got a custom one of him from a chase dalek, but it looks good but i don’t like the gun, it doesn’t look like the one we knew from the film.
Colin the 3rd
May 3rd, 2013 - 12:46pmWould be interested to know how limited these are. 2000-3000 each?
There are over 400 people wanting the 8th Doctor on this site alone 😯
Anonymous
May 3rd, 2013 - 1:12pmThe FP exclusives tend to be 5000 so I’d expect similar figures for these.
