A Dalek encounter for the Thirteenth Doctor!

The Daleks make their Thirteenth Doctor Adventures debut in Armageddon Dawn, a full-cast audio drama starring Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill, due November 2026.

The Doctor has a new enemy – the Aegis Protectorate, an interstellar arms manufacturer that’s been causing trouble across her recent adventures. In the next episode of The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures, she sets out to confront Aegis, but finds her new enemy in collusion with an old one…

The full-cast audio episode Armageddon Dawn features the first audio encounter between the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), her companion Yasmin Khan (Mandip Gill), and the Daleks (Nicholas Briggs).

This action-packed episode also features the return of Aegis boss Athena Nikos (Juliet Aubrey) and the mysterious Tourist (Maddison Bulleyment), and introduces the obnoxious tech entrepreneur Esskapell (Amit Shah).

The Dalek Negotiator seems oddly restrained, but with it vying against Esskapell for control of Aegis, and the Doctor and Yaz stuck in the middle, how long can it be until someone gets exterminated?

Writer Matt Fitton said: “As script editor on this run of adventures (and as a Northerner!), I couldn’t wait to write for the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz, so leapt at the chance for the pivotal episode Armageddon Dawn.

“While we’ve seen this Doctor face Daleks on Earth on TV, I wanted to raise the stakes even higher here. So as the Dalek Empire tries to get its suckers on Aegis, what I really wanted to do was lock her in a room with her greatest enemy and see what they really think of one another!

“I also get to bring in elements of the series arc and play with Noga’s inspired creation, the chaotic Tourist, brought to life by Madison Bulleyment. And there’s a return for Juliet Aubrey as arms dealer Athena Nikos – although she’s in a different place from when we last met her. With all this and an ambitious tech bro too, the Doctor and Yaz will be put through the wringer…”
