Excited to get this for the show, but the price? Not so much. £50 feels OTT considering that TV shows with more episodes (thus discs), bigger budgets and marketing spend, like House of the Dragon and The Penguin, only RRP at £29.99 on Blu-Ray.

Is there any clarity whether ‘Joy to the World’ is going to be included in this set, or not?

So far no, but I think when they first announced Season 1 they didn’t mention “Church” then and in the end it was included, so I assume same story here.

Would seem weird if ‘Joy to the World’ isn’t included, as the previous season included ‘The Church on Ruby Road’ (Though the Argument for the inclusion of Church on Season One, is that it sets up the mystery surrounding Ruby). But so far the only instances of Specials not being included on Season/Series Sets are The 2009-2010 Specials (Released in a Mini-Series Boxset of their own back in 2010), Day and Time of the Doctor (Given a Boxset with Name of the Doctor and An Adventure In Space & Time in 2014 marked as ‘The 50th Anniversary Collection’), Twice Upon a Time (as Series 10 had already been released, and to include a Single Capaldi story on the first Jodie Boxset would have been odd.), Revolution of the Daleks didn’t get included in with Flux (had very little to do with that Series) and the final 3 Jodie Specials as well as the 60th Anniversary Specials (again the 60th was almost a Trilogy Mini-Series) …

Church wasn’t mentioned when season 1 was announced so joy may well be included.
