Adventures in Type and Space Sid Sutton Charity Bookazine
Available to order from www.tenacrefilm.com
The Sid Sutton Collection is a special supplement to our Doctor Who title sequence bookazine Adventures in Type and Space. Sid created the 1980s starfield sequences for Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Colin Baker’s Doctors.
Sid was in ill health when he contributed to the original edition of Adventures in Type and Space and sadly died before publication. In recent months, his family has allowed us access to his archives, sharing a wealth of unseen photography.
The Sid Sutton Collection presents this material with Sid’s original written contribution from the first Type and Space bookazine, supplemented with 38 pages of new features and interviews with Sid’s sons Daniel and Tom, colleague Tony Geddes, actor Colin Baker, and cameraman Terry Handley, who photographed all three sequences.
This volume and the original Adventures in Type and Space bookazine are also available as a combined limited edition hardback volume.
Proceeds will benefit Unicef, Bernard Lodge’s chosen charity.
Created by Graham Kibble-White, Jack Kibble-White and Stuart Manning.
Format: 48 pages; full colour, 21cm x 21cm, perfect-bound
All pre-orders will be entered into a special prize draw to win a unique signed archival print of one of Sid Sutton’s Doctor Who title sequence portraits. Only two copies of this image have been made – one is now owned by Colin Baker… and the other could be owned by you.
