These sets have just been listed on an Australian suppliers website so will be available outside of the UK

Need an actual Clara 5.5 in one of her outfits. I didn’t get the lazily repainted Oswin which was passed off as Clara. Come on fans are not that dumb to know the difference. Missy looks… butch. No offense!

    • The Outcast

      May 18th, 2018 - 10:56am

Yeah, that Clara repaint was awful. Atleast the figures in these sets do look about 90% right, that Clara was inaccurate garbage.

Still waiting for a Face the Raven Clara with Raven in Cage exclusive (just my preference, I think her FTR outfit is the most memorable) And I never bought that blue-dress repainted Oswin – COME ON CHARACTER!

    • Thatchos

      June 8th, 2018 - 1:52am

They could make a Face the Raven sculpt and repaint it for the Time of the Doctor / Deep Breath costume (the most memorable one in my opinion)

Clara Oswald in the Shirt and pants from “Face the Raven” and “Hell Bent” with the 12th Doctor in the Red Coat would have made the most sense as figure pairing.

Nice to see a more colour-accurate waistcoat on the Doctor there. Might get this set just for that.

Not fussed at all about the Amy figure, and they really missed an opportunity with Clara. This Oswin doesn’t look as good as the Impossible Set one to me, and we still haven’t had a screen-accurate Clara figure. The purple dress one they did is good enough as an approximation, but I’d still like to see a Name of the Doctor redeco, or Time of the Doctor remold.

We desperately need a Victorian Clara too – governess or barmaid, don’t mind which. Honestly, you could make a whole set of figures just of different Claras. Her being my favourite companion, it hurts to admit they’ve not really done her full justice figure-wise yet, and most people seem to feel she’s the weak link in this set.

Interested to see how some of these custom Claras might turn out, though…!

      May 17th, 2018 - 4:33pm

Agree. Governess and barmaid Clara has been largely ignored. I already have The Impossible Set. Also would love to have 5,5 Clara in either in Under The Lake/Before The Flood outfit or Name of The Doctor blue/green plaid. I feel they don’t really wanna bother sometimes and this is a missed opportunity.

    • Andrew Falconer

      June 15th, 2018 - 9:11am

Clara Oswald in both of the Victorian dresses as seen in both “The Crimson Horror” and “The Snowman” would have been great figure choices to match the 11th Doctor in his long coat.

    May 15th, 2018 - 4:55pm

Light blue paint, black paint and a tool for trimming hair and you could make a decent Face the Raven Clara. Liking what Amy is wearing too

    • The Outcast

      May 18th, 2018 - 10:52am

No. I saw a mock-up someone made of a Face the the Raven Clara made using this figure and it just looked wrong. I’m happy enough with the Season 7 Brig and Talons 4 figures because they look like what they are meant to be pretty much, but they can’t get away with doing a Face the Raven Clara like that.

      May 23rd, 2018 - 5:03pm

The Outcast, that’s your opinion. But if someone puts a lot of time and effort into making the custom Clara, it is possible to do it justice. To me, the 4th Doctor set is a huge no-no as I really cannot justify buying a set with two captain Jack bodies, that have been repainted and added to a set that includes yet another Tom baker figure. Especially if the sets are going to be priced at £16.99 again. That is one set that will not be coming home with me, it’s like the set with Leela that was released last year, it was the “shelf warmer” at several different B&M stores near me, and to this day, still for sale, and the price has been dropped a few times. But seeing as I’m not that much of a Tom baker fan, I’ve never picked it up.

    • Andrew Falconer

      June 15th, 2018 - 9:14am

They need to make an all new Clara Oswald based on “Face the Raven” and “Hell Bent”.

Clara Oswald is long overdue for an accurate figure with better head movement and leg movement.

It has to look as much like Jenna Coleman as possible. 3D scan her face immediately.

  • Jordie55555

    May 15th, 2018 - 4:19pm

Honestly this set should’ve had a 2013 cyberman

    • The Outcast

      May 18th, 2018 - 10:49am

New tooling would have been required. These are budget sets, so they aren’t gonna do that, else they would lose money.

    • booboo

      May 18th, 2018 - 10:52am

if there was going to be one it mould be normal release at £14.99 or whatever, maybe a variant in these sets somewhere down the line

  • Anonymous

    May 15th, 2018 - 2:21pm

are the recent releases that are listed as 5.5″ still to scale with the previous 5″ figures or are they slightly taller? and if so why did they change?

    • The Outcast

      May 15th, 2018 - 2:24pm

      The same size pretty much.

    • The Werewolf

      May 15th, 2018 - 3:03pm

They have always been 5.5″, just never used to be labelles them as such and we called them 5″ because of the Daleks.

    • Ian

      May 16th, 2018 - 9:15am

Not quite. 5.5″ are a bit bigger. Take Capaldi ..he’s taller than the other Doctors.

    • Omega63

      May 17th, 2018 - 7:45pm

That was only because of a manufacturing error made by the team who designed the 3D renders for the figure. They’re ‘meant’ to be exactly the same size, but ironically ended up bigger. They finally change the number to better match most of the Figures (most the 5″ Figures are closer to 5.5″), and then when they do, the Capaldi Figure ends up being closer to 6″…

    • Koloth

      May 18th, 2018 - 9:33am

8th NOTD figure is way too tall as well, which is a shame.

  • toptimelord

    May 15th, 2018 - 2:03pm

I’m gobsmacked! What a surprise! No warning! This Eleventh Doctor figure set looks amazing! Not only a Victorian clad Eleventh Doctor but Amy and Clara aswell! All big figs too!

  • THE ERGON

    May 15th, 2018 - 10:24am

The expressions seem a little glazed and less animated than their originals but i think if we can get more variations of already existing figures from B and M, it could be in their best interests and ours and if sale figures are good maybe they could try an exclusive line.

Kinda wish he had the bowtie instead.

  • Shane Cook

    May 15th, 2018 - 12:49am

This 11th Doctor has a Black waistcoat and Black lapels for some reason. The Original Snowman version was all purple. Looks better without the hat though

    • Koloth

      May 18th, 2018 - 9:34am

All purple has been done. I’m loving the darker tones =D

This may have been an attempt at the ‘Nightmare in Silver’ Doctor but he has the wrong jacket.

How much do people estimate these 3 figure sets will be?
I hope not much over £15.

    • Totalbritish25

      May 15th, 2018 - 12:49am

last year they were 16.99 so guessing they will be that price this year and the tardis not to sure mate that’s a new thing they are doing so I would say possibly somewhere between 20-30

  • EndlessTimelord

    May 14th, 2018 - 10:15pm

Love the look of that Amy but not sure on the other too.
    Would have had:
11th Doc- TOTD set sculpt repainted to Nightmare in Silver Variant
Amy- The one in this set
    And a monster. eg Silurian

Nevertheless, still a decent set and may try make a custom Clara!

  • Anonymous

    May 14th, 2018 - 9:19pm

I feel that amys outfit fron ‘the hungry earth / cold blood’ would have suited the sculpt better, but no matter, I’ll still hopefully be buying each of these new sets.

    • Adam

      May 15th, 2018 - 11:30pm

The only problem really is the sleeve length. Amy wore shorts in the Hungry Earth, so that would have still been inaccurate unfortunately.

    • Frankie Kenny

      July 9th, 2018 - 1:06pm

If I could Be aloud to pick 3 sets to have made I would choose:
      11th doctor set with:
-Amy (A good man goes to war)
      -A saturnyne (Vampires of Venice)
-11th doctor with Fez (The Big Bang)

      7th doctor set with:
      -Ace (Dragon fire)
      -Seveth doctor (Any episode)
-Destroyed Dalek (Remembrance of the Daleks)

      Monsters set with:
      -Davros (Remembrance of the Daleks)
      -Dalek (Remembrance of the Daleks)
      -Emoji Robots Smile)

Tell me what you think of these sets

  • THE ERGON

    May 14th, 2018 - 8:33pm

not so much as a souffle’ in sight.

  • THE ERGON

    May 14th, 2018 - 8:12pm

Amy looks like she forgot to spray tan the top half of her body.

  • TIMELORDTC

    May 14th, 2018 - 7:27pm

Would’ve preferred maybe Shirted Amy, a fixed Time of the Doctor Matt and an enemy instead of an oswin re-release, but this is still very tempting

  • The 13th Doctor

    May 14th, 2018 - 6:42pm

Can I just ask? What is different about 11 and Oswin/Clara? Thanks

    • booboo

      May 14th, 2018 - 6:48pm

11 has no hat and looks darker, as does Oswins dress with variations to the belt finish by the looks of it

  • When The Docor Was Me

    May 14th, 2018 - 5:45pm

Looks great! Wanted a new Amy for ages! And i missed out on the impossible set. So must buy for me!

    Oswald Oswin?

  • RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND

    May 14th, 2018 - 4:21pm

I might buy this just for Amy…

    • RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND

      May 14th, 2018 - 4:22pm

      although I would’ve preferred a different outfit

  • Anonymous

    May 14th, 2018 - 4:11pm

I seem to remember a 3.75″ Amy that looked very much like this B&M version which was never released? I think it was from one of the Toy Fairs? I wonder if this is an up-scaled version of that figure?

    • The Outcast

      May 14th, 2018 - 4:19pm

It isn’t, it uses the old Series 5 Amy Pond mold. That being said, they could have both been based on the same costume variant.

  • Slambam27

    May 14th, 2018 - 2:56pm

Wow! I love the new series 6 Amy! This is a lovely surprise. I would have liked to have seen the series 7 version enlarged to this scale but this is still great to have.

    • Jackson Lake

      May 14th, 2018 - 3:43pm

Same, although if it were possible I’d of love a Series 6A Amy in the plaid shirt (for some reason, Amy and Rory wore plaid in every episode of Series 6A)

  • Simplyzak09

    May 14th, 2018 - 1:41pm

This one probably won’t be the most popular of the three, but it looks to still be a great set still and a new Amy figure is always welcome in my books.

  • Doctor909

    May 14th, 2018 - 1:39pm

Wow! Looks v.good. New pictures set it off that bit more. Nice to finally have another Amy variant. Shame about the Clara but it does look better than the Impossible Set one. 11 looks good, shame they could have used a bow tie but I guess that’d need new tooling

  • TARDISGuy

    May 14th, 2018 - 12:14pm

So basically a re-release of The Impossible Set but with a new Amy figure? People are gonna say this isn’t a great set but it’s not bad. A lot of people didn’t get the Impossible Set and finally a new Amy! Plus, it may just be the prototype photo but it looks like another mildly different 11 face. I rather like it.

    • booboo

      May 14th, 2018 - 12:19pm

yes but without the hat, Oswin does appear the same though

  • The Outcast

    May 14th, 2018 - 11:41am

Actually, I think this one might be the most disappointing, seeing as only 1 figure is actually a new variant, but it is cool non the less, the Series 6 Amy Pond is cool.

And this and those last 2 comments I’ve posted are my initial reactions to seeing these sets. Sorry for comment inrush, but man, this is the most exciting thing to happen for Doctor Who figures all year.

  • the_4th_doc

    May 14th, 2018 - 11:39am

How are the first two exclusive? They’re variants, aren’t they?

    • the_4th_doc

      May 14th, 2018 - 11:41am

as in, small variants from costumes and episodes we’ve already seen, unlike the other sets and Amy
