I wonder if we’ll get a Bellal figure from Death to the Daleks?

They could do Mestor, a Black Cyberman, the Borad, Sil, Sontaran Stike, Drathro, and the Rani from Colin’s era. I think the Ancient one is a great choice, but they should do more from Colin’s Doctor.

I think we can all agree that if they don’t produce a large Drathro figure, it’s an own goal.

Whilst I’m here, and if anyone from Eaglemoss is reading this, I always wanted a Cleaner robot figure (from Paradise Towers) as a kid.

Hear hear! But don’t let that distract from what will hopefully be a great Seventh Doctor era figure.

Yes they are aware, but as they have pointed out they’ve had 130 figures and Colin Baker only has eight stories, so his four figures are a reasonable representation. They can’t share an equal amount of figures between Doctors, otherwise certain eras would get ridiculously over represented.

Wow, was it really only 8? Going to check my DVDs now as I never really noticed, guess that’s the good thing about weekly episodes for a story though, it seemed like more plus rewatching them can make it seem like more too.

I like to think of ‘Trial of a Timelord’ as 4 seperate stories under an umbrella title like ‘ the Key to Tme’. Giving Colin a few more stories

I always had it down as 11 stories as the trial of a time Lord has 4 different stories Christopher eccleson only made 13 episodes but has 9 figures in total

The 9th dr made 10 episodes but 3 of them was 2 parters

So why has the 9th dr got 9 figures from 10 stories than surely the 6th dr should at least have 7 figures from 8/ 11 stories

Well there’s two different factors going into that. One is that they want a similar number of new series figures as classic figures so that means each new series Doctor will got a proportionally larger amount of figures. The second is that each Doctor per era should have a representative amount of figures fo rhis (or her) era. So new series Doctors with lots of stories will have more figures than new series Doctors with less stories. And classic series Doctors with lots of stories will have more figures than classic series Doctors with less stories. It’s basically split into two eras with their own proportions so you can’t compare the amount of figures a Doctor im classic to new, as the ratios are only meant to reflect other 20th or 21st century Doctors.

That makes sense but I’d still like to see at least a couple more figures from the 6th dr era

They could have the Rani and Master figures from the sixth Doctor era, and the Valeyard of course, Sil, arguably Colin Bakers most memorable villian, and a glass dalek from ‘Revelation’. Drathro special, the Borad, a Cryon…
