Win a Tardis Signed by Susannah Leah – Closed

Win a Junk Tardis Signed by Susannah Leah

The competition is now closed, The winner, Callum Metcalfe was chosen by Susannah Leah, The Blue Peter competition winner and designer of The Tardis

After a Blue Peter competition in 2010 in which viewers were challenged to design a TARDIS Console, Susannah Leah from Todmorden in Yorkshire, then aged 13, came up with the plan for a Junk TARDIS.

To set the scene, after deleting part of his TARDIS to traverse a rift that leads outside of the universe, the Doctor lands in a TARDIS Scrapyard. Here he takes pieces from scrapped time machines and adding other bits of “junk” he creates a Junk Console to enable his TARDIS to travel through time again. So great was her design that Susannah went on to win the competition and had the incredible treat of seeing it put into practice and form part of a televised episode. “It was amazing,” said Susannah; “I went to Cardiff and saw a life-size version of my design.

I witnessed some of the filming and I met Matt Smith … Incredible!”

Now you can win courtesy of Character and Susannah your very own Signed Junk Tardis. A Highly detailed 5-inch scale Junk TARDIS based on the design by Susannah Leah, winner of the Blue Peter ‘Design a TARDIS Console’ competition and seen in “The Doctors Wife”. Features include flight restraint safety straps; removable console panel and time rotator.

Use the spinner on the base to fly the TARDIS, get strapped in first though – it could be a rough ride! Action figure not included. Assembly required. 5+

Usual rules apply – Just leave one (further comments will be deleted) appropriate and sensible comment of some sort (it wont make any difference what you say) and a valid email address in the marked box ( email address will not be seen by anyone else and only used by ourselves to pick a winner, it must be valid, your own, or used with owners permission otherwise i wont be able to contact you)

UK Only, One entry per email address ( You must ask permission if using parents/guardians) competition will end without warning.

This competition is run by The Doctor Who Site and we have the Tardis in hand ready to send out.

The Doctor’s wife is easily one of the best episodes of the Matt Smith era, and this console is amazing too.

I don’t have a console yet, because all the others are a bit too big to fit on my shelf. This one might do though. I hope I win.

oh, sorry, forgot to put my email in the last comment. so don’t include that one. just this one.

dear boo boo. i am posting this comment to enter the compotition but may i make a request.
to give a fair chance to everyone, can you do a more fair voting system. fr example, last time you counted 21 or something down from the last comment. but with the amount of comments, the first half had no chance of winning what so ever. thank you. 🙂

Clever girl! I have a theory that this TARDIS is meant to be a modern day version of the classic console!
