And I believe they posted a third pic but deleted it, I definetely saw a 3rd one. I’m going to say that it is the Brig, Jo and an Axon man.

March 6th, 2013 - 10:25amGad all these guys wanting figures that lets face it will barely look like who theyre supposed to – and which will look extremely dull on display. I collected most of art asylums figures because they look like the characters theyre supposed to be and they articulate better than the Who figures….
But Im FLABBERGASTED that so many guys want what are basically ‘dolls’ when theres a plethora of fascinating classic monsters to be had. I blame the new series with its dull lacklustre and uninteresting aliens…..

March 6th, 2013 - 11:25amThe new series does have interesting monsters, though they really have yet to fully take advantage of the Cybermen and Daleks in the Moffat era.
Closing Time and Asylum of the Daleks gave a glimmer of hope, but the ending of Closing Time (reversing the process) was heavily disliked by many (not me) and the underuse of the Daleks in Asylum was bad 🙁

In the end Ive not bothered with several items I would have purchased ( sharaz jek, scaroth – a poor figure anyway – and the decaying ‘attack’ cybermen)had they not been with duplicate figures.

March 5th, 2013 - 7:09pmWouldnt you have preferred a third doctor set containing an ogron, a draconian and alpha centauri, or a silurian or a solonian mutt if we have to have the Brig in his ‘jumper’ – (rather than accompanying a web of fear yeti surely the preferred choice when the yeti prototype was such an excellent figure) why not packaged with an amabassador and a ‘primord ??

to be honest if they gave me new classic aliens I wouldnt care if they were from different eras… if they keep bringing ‘story based’ packs out it grows ever more remote that things like quarks krotons war machines and chumblies will make it….

March 5th, 2013 - 7:40pmWell I think story based sets are the best kind, but if they have a story they can’t make a set for, like the Visitation, they should release the Terileptil from that, but say they had the Leisure Hive, they shouldn’t just release the Foamasi from that, they should have Romana and the Doctor with his aged face swappable with his normal face.
But hopefully they will make “Enemy sets” that will not cancel the possibility of good story sets. I would be gutted if they released a Valeyard figure in one and never made a Trial of a Timelord set :O
