How about next year, B&M do a Seventh Doctor figure with Pink Tardis from ‘The Happiness Patrol’. The police box only needs a repaint. I’m sure it would sell extremely well.

it has been mentioned with a donation to charity, just an idea though

This is number 1 on my list followed by the sontaran set. I’ve been craving these cybermen for years ever since selling my original ones.

I thought the 3 packs are 15.99 like they have been the other years

    • booboo

      August 1st, 2019 - 3:59pm

      they were £16.99 2 years running so playing catch up i expect + extra costs of new heads etc, they have gone up £2-3 every year or so £9.99 – £12.99 – £14.99 – £16.99 – £16.99 – £19.99

How different are these cybermen from the silver nemesis set?

    • booboo

      July 31st, 2019 - 9:58pm

      more silver

    • Sauvix

      August 1st, 2019 - 1:34pm

I think the bodies are darker to make the silver heads and chest units stand out more.

I’ll just be happy to buy any one of these sets in store. I like all of them, but if I can be able to just buy one set of any figure set release in B&M then that would be a first! I’ve had to get the ones I wanted on ebay the past few years.

Did Al Dewar say which B&M store specifically?

    • booboo

      July 31st, 2019 - 6:48pm

    • booboo

      July 31st, 2019 - 6:50pm

its was reply to someone quote:

I was saying i think .. in fact I’m sure B&M have the stock already so it must be days at most .. maybe holding back for the big release?

I’m trying to reach out to B&M, lets see if they want to play ball

    • prototype dalek

      July 31st, 2019 - 6:59pm

Interesting, hopefully it is days than weeks. I’ll talk to a few people I know at B&M, one of them tends to know about stock quite in advance.

Hope so, I know you’ve had colourful dealings with B&M in the past.

its perfectly possible, if they want to do it, do give out accurate info as to their intentions, assuming they have a “plan”. Its up to them but it will stop a lot of unnecessary phone calls.

    • prototype dalek

      July 31st, 2019 - 7:12pm

It is the more possible then they will release it early for that reason or at least announce a date to stop these unnecessary phone calls like you said. At least with big finish they do tend to have good PR and do give out advance dates and keep you updated.

This McCoy will make an excellent Lt. Columbo custom.

Do’h, I have just bought these two exact Cybermen on eBay as I needed them and thought they wouldn’t get another release.
Oh well at least I have them if I don’t see this set, and if I do I could have some more for my Cyber army!
I notice there is no umbrella for the 7th Doctor just like the lack of sonics on other Doctors but at least the Cybermen have guns.

Newer B&M sets oddly leave out accessories for the Doctor.

Strange that they used a cyberman with a bent handlebar for the promotional images

How Many Versions Of This Will Be Made

    • Anonymous

      July 30th, 2019 - 3:57pm

It’s also strange how both cybermen shown in that image are completely identical, unlike the real set, which includes one normal cyberman and the “excellent” cyberleader…

      July 30th, 2019 - 4:01pm

And two cyber leaders when the set includes one cyber leader and a cyber scout

As long as the set contains one of each I don’t mind

Bailey H : just one version of this set (and just one for all three 3-packs, in fact. Only the three Big Finish sets are coming out in two different versions each, details of what the differences are in the Big Finish exclusive variant packs have yet to be announced.

Would it would have killed them to spend a couple of minutes in Photoshop to fix those droopy handlebars?
