Stocks Arrive – B&M 2020 Interim Sets Product Codes, Prices and Information

The Product codes for the new 2020 items are as follows…
- The 3rd Doctor and Tardis set Product code 357656 £19.99.
- 2020 Big Finish Doctor and Dalek Sets product code 357657 £19.99
You can search for these and previous sets on www.ebay.co.uk. We strongly recommend however you try your nearest store first in the coming days or wait for prices to stabilise as happened last time.
Please note we recommend you check any information yourself before travelling as some comments maybe out of date and in a few instances might prove unreliable.
The app for the most part seems reliable but has also seemed problematic in a few cases.

March 7th, 2020 - 1:03pmPenzance Cornwall branch have 3 to 4 Tardis on the top shelf and about the same again of each of the Dalek sets but look carefully for Dalek sets because you could just pass by them.

March 6th, 2020 - 7:09pmJust reposting this because it’s useful regarding the order quantity, which suggests there’s less reason to stress about getting these than previously as these are basically full orders….
None in Tolworth/Surbiton- in the stockroom there they think they’re definitely not getting these and they’re only getting the three packs (as this range is only being directed to the bigger stores).
None in Pump Lane/Middlesex- they say they don’t normally get new lines, they’re more of a hub for older/excess stock.
None in Hayes- they hadn’t even been told about these, but they checked literally everywhere for me and then they checked the stock at the central distribution warehouse (Liverpool, maybe?) and there are still 5000 units of both types of set located there (I saw it on the scanner/device myself for one of the product codes).
All staff were very nice indeed and Hayes went above and beyond.

March 7th, 2020 - 9:40amfirt run is 5000 with 10,000 more on order as per last year there will be plenty if fans stop wanting to be the first to brag about getting them i laugh at all the ones on ebay that sold for over £100 thena month later more came out, and now you can even buy sontaran packs for £10 haha we in scotland are always last to get them but talking to some of my stores in total out of only four stores between them over 100 ordered so will be plenty

March 7th, 2020 - 10:37amAh, thanks, John Hogg, that’s excellent news. I didn’t even realise the last range had a second, larger delivery- but I certainly still see plenty of three packs left. Relieves a lot of our stresses then, because a good proportion of people I know of give up if they don’t get them in the first few days. Helpful info.

Does this include the Tardis figures? These appear to be harder to get. I manage to get all three Dalek sets in Reading this morning I must admit by accident. I was not actively looking. There were no Tardis sets at the time or appeared to be no space for them on the shelf.

March 6th, 2020 - 8:46pmYou’re right: they definitely did have at least the Dalek sets last time, though not for long and presumably in small numbers because I missed them there almost immediately. Not sure beyond that, because at the point I was there during that release, the only other products they had were the previous range of three packs reduced and, I think, the sonics. No guarantee they’re correct this time, though, and I personally think even if they’re correct, they mean they’re not getting them in the INITIAL distribution which would direct them to the main stores. Based purely on the size of the order, I think it’s unlikely they won’t find their way everywhere eventually. Seems like most staff don’t get much notification of these products until they’re ready to be placed on shelves, to be honest, so not their fault if they’re mistaken.

March 7th, 2020 - 7:14amBut that’s good though – I remember how I only just managed to get the last 2nd Dr three pack and a 7th Dr 3 pack at about 9 o clock in the morning. It’s worse if scalpers target the little stores – I remember being told about someone who spent £300 on figure sets by one of the till workers. Scalpers are annoying nuisances but if you plan things right you’ll overcome them…

Really pleased for you, but that’s so annoying as I was there Friday afternoon, told they wouldn’t have them by somebody who asked in the stockroom, and then drove for 2 hours elsewhere to get none. (I guess they didn’t like me.) Like I’ve said before, not the fault of staff, but this sytem is a real stress with so much disappointment. Really disheartening.

March 6th, 2020 - 8:52pmDundee Kingsway West had four Tardis sets left at 1800hrs. Picked up one set. Couple of things of note;
The most of the boxes were pretty beat-up.
The corner posts on the TARDIS show bowing of varying degrees, some worse than others. It’s been pointed out by PB Props before and the plastic keeping the doors closed isn’t helping matters.
The TARDIS is a very bright blue colour. On inspection, it’s the same blue as used on the original but the wash is much lighter this time and over all result is a more lurid looking TARDIS.
The Doctor figure is excellent as far as the quality control goes. the shirt is the regen-toothpaste blue shade with green applied either side. The hair is very well done, paint applications on the face are exceptional and overall it’s a good looking figure. Visually I personally think the first Third TARDIS release with the red jacket and the dirty blue box looks way more sophisticated and the black detailing gave the box more presence.
None the less, it’s a good set and a worthy addition, it just doesn’t have the ‘wow’ factor that last summer’s sets had.

March 7th, 2020 - 11:14amThanks for the report, very helpful. Good to hear observations from someone who has one of the new sets. And good to remember the sets aren’t going to be perfect. I sometimes noticed what I thought was some bowing on the corner posts in the past TARDIS sets, but I wasn’t sure.
