    I had the tenth doctor cake for my 24th birthday (2007) i refused to put a knife through david so we saved the picture off it till it went funny.I had converse shoes that year as my big present now who could have made me want those i wonder hmm lol.

    Hey ‘year1’. When you say you’re having the cake for your birthday this year, do you mean the David Tennant one or Matt Smith one? I really want the David Tennant one, if anyone knows where you can buy it, I would love it for my birthday this year. Can’t believe I didn’t know this cake existed. The Matt Smith one is on sale at Asda and costs about £8.

      £10 was quite a jump from £8 or £7 something when it first came out about a year ago. I have about 4 cakes kept in polythene bags and in air tight containers, but they do discolour. I have eaten 2-3 at the time, just keeping some printed icing and of course the outer box.

      Some cakes have been excellent taste-wise, others not.

      M&S have done some, as have Sainsbury’s.
