Doctor Who 3.75″ Chase Figures on Amazon £7.99 each

An Amazon seller has what appears to be 3.75″ Chase figures Red dress clara, Looped Angel and Dalek Sec all for £7.99 each. These were supplied by Underground Toys in the USA as they have the warning sticker on them.

Its is possible the other angel and Cyberman are chase figures a well as they are using stock images, no guarantees though!

I asked too and they just said the figures are correct to Amazons EAN barcodes or something. Makes me worry that the ones with the chase images may not even be chase figures now.

the chase figures shown are because many people have received them, and they have taken their own images of those

The bar codes are the same regardless

It just seems very odd the chase figures were sold in sets of 6 why the dont have the other 2

If this seller has loads of these ‘rare’ figures, how are they so rare and why dont they have other screaming angel and cyberman with blue chestplate ‘rare’ figures – this is sooo confusing!!!!!!!

Maybe he sold out on the other 2 or maybe because they were released it later sets such as wave 2 and 4 and so didn’t stock them

they were only rare in the UK until they were released in the USA as a one off batch, this is clearly the tail end of the unsold stock, you can see they are USA stock because of the age sticker

Its quite possible the seller is using stock images of the Angel and Cyberman unaware the figures are different, its a gamble but i suspect the Cyberman and Angel are the chase figures

there a still many people who probably didn’t get these so it a good opportunity to complete the collection

The fact the Angel and the Cyberman are 6.99 instead of 7.99 makes me think they are not the chase figures. Not willing to take the chance. Is anyone else? 😛

the story was that the USA never had the chase figures in the original batch, they were left out of the shipment for some reason

they therefore did a separate run of just the chase figures for the USA some months after the original batch (which is why you could just order them all in one go)

By that time the 2nd Clara had been sculpted so they used that mould

I think this really shows what the 3.75 range has become. I remember when these were on ebay for £50! This range is definitely worthless now. For those who collect this scale this is a good time to get these rare figures at a reasonable price.

they only became “worthless” when you were able to buy all 6 from the USA in one go at £6.99 each and the UK market (ebay) was flooded with those imports, I saw it happen, these are the clearly the tail end of that stock and a very good buy for anyone who didn’t get them.

should also say the USA version was the 2nd version of Clara and much better than the original UK release

Yeah, that hair sculpt is more screen accurate compared to what we got here in the UK. These figures were quite common in my local stores back in 2013 I managed to find the 11th doctor in dark waistcoat, cyberman with arm gun and the projected weeping angel. As I dont collect this scale I did not buy them but I wish I did as at that time I could have made a lot of profit out of them.
