I thought I would bring this to the front for another look, its interesting just how many potential figures we haven’t had yet! Rory seems quite popular!!!!
Its the big Poll – Now that the series is over we now know the potential figures so which ones would you like to see. There are so many that we have only included some of the major variants and key cast from each episode.

Not atall, it’s what I love.
Its the thing I look forward to the most of all ! And if CO make any more figures this year, and atall, I want a figure of the Doctro from the story “Closing Time”.
There are variants I dislike though, but they are bad varients. (in cowboy hat, in beard with wrong bowtie colour, but atleast the bearded one was a good figure). !

If they are going to make a Rory figure they need to be quick as the end of the Ponds is getting near and there will be no point in making the figure when they are not in the series. I WANT RORY!!!

We have no current plans to produce a Rory Williams Figure.

All the figures that are developed are confidential to Character Options and the BBC and information will not be released until the items have been approved by all parties involved.
Many rumours spread around lots of Dr Who forums, the only advice we can give is to await the official release details.

I think the anit-boides would make a good character to collect/buy, and they would certainly have alot of potential as a good character-figure. Wouldn’t they look good ?

Forbidden Planet sets all delayed, what a disappointing service. Pre order here-pre order there 2 months ago, big words, bla bla, and then we’ll end up getting the sets not in time for Xmas. Good strategy FP,good strategy!

have you actually filled in the details for delivery to the UK? £5 sounds like the USA default charge. i have on my account and its a lot more than £5 – its showing $38 which is £25 as whona only send ups tracking overseas, also, if it gets stopped at customs you will get a 20% vat charge on top to pay.

Maybe they’re postponing the release of a new wave of figures (that are not just Silents and Cybers) till the Rory figure is available.
I hope this is the case.
I wished they would make a Rory Amy set with the two of them. I think we are in need of an Amy figutre from Series 6 !

Doctor in Cowboy hat (terrible figure, inacccurate, pointless waste of plastic, they should have made a Doctor from Wedding of Riversong in teh Stetson-hat instead of this one !)

Cyber chest-damaged with electric (because it does not come with the Cyber-head piece).

Yeah, okay. I think i’ll choose the Enemies Of The Third Doctor Set. I think i would have chose it before, but i just wanted to see other people’s opinions. I think Omega looks brilliant and the Drashig would be brilliant to have on the shelf as well as using it as a hand puppet. Thanks guys.

No, she’s said that when she goes she won’t return, Steven Moffat later said they were leaving “soon” after a heartbreaking storyline.
Nothing has been officially said when they are leaving (everyone has jumped to the conclusion it’s next series, Steven Moffat has refused to specifiy when they will go), or about the possibility of Arthur Darvill returning in future.

I’m gald they made the Silence figures, and there are four different versions in total.
Im glad they made an Idris figure, I will bb buying the release with eh Phsychic container.
And I’m very pleased with the GOOD figures of the Doctor. This ofcourse includes all, apart from the Cowboy hat Doctyor (AWFUL, pointless figure and very poor representation) and single release bearded Doctor with wrong Bowtie Colour. :p

I agree with adipose37, they should definately have made the Dreamlord and the Vampires.
Why is it we got an underhenge roman auton, a rerelease of Amy in the Pandorica wave, and a Silurian Warrior that is just Alaya (no gloves like Restac ?)
When there were figures that NEEDED made and weren;t ? ! 
It was like they had run out of ideas for figures, when there was infact GOOD STUFF THEY OCULD EASILY HAVE MADE ! Liek the Vamprie girls and the Dreamlord .etc
Pure laziness is the reason for these shortcomings from character.

Steven Moffat forced them into production of a Rory figure, unfortunately it appears they were not inteding to make one when he actually made them begin working on one which was late August/September so it will be 2012 at the earliest befre we see him sadly.

I haven’t seen all of the 11th Doctor episodes so some characters people like may be missing. I know I have a lot here and some are kind of unimportant characters but people still might want them and I wouldn’t mind having them.

Sorry to burst the bubble, We don’t need those figures atall ! We hardly need octavian from Series 5, a Van Gough figure ?
The figures we really need are as follows: Um, let me think, YES ! We need the Handbot from epsiode the Girl who waited, and the Minotaur from God Complex.
A Craig Owens and Doctor from Closing time, and Amy/Rory figure release set would be nice to see. Aswell as Madam Kovarian.

I was only putting down a list of characters that haven’t been made into figures and that people might want. You’ve only said characters from the 11th Doctor series and lots of people want some characters from the 9th and 10th Doctor, but it’s your opinion and this/that was mine.

Some of them figures aren’t needed but it’d be great to have them all!
They should’ve made some of these and also should still make them, it’s all about the 11 Doctor series now, it’s annoying, it’s like people have only seen his series.
They should put out a make your own figures set, with different heads, bodies, arms, legs, hair and paint and that modeling plasticy stuff.
I totally agree but there are a small few you should take out of the list. Come on CO!

I’d like a Dorium figure… in Monk suit… and his head in a box.

All the Doctor figures sound great, and Rory with Eyedrive most definitely.
Anyone else think Character could release the eye-drive thingies (don’t actually know how to spell that) as a prop? Maybe in a bundle with something else though, River’s journal maybe?

On the Wedding of River Song I thought the Doctor had to die then on the beach and that it was a fixed point in time and HAD to happen – but it didn’t so can someone please explain this if they know. I would be happy if you do. Thanks

Not quite.
The Doctor had to be on the beach, he had to be shot and he had to die.
So, he got the Tesselecta to copy him and be shot and destroyed but with him still inside so it technically was him and someone who looked like him “died” at that point.

It’s probablly because it’s the most significant costume from the series that they released it. Similarly they think the costume from The Impossibel Astronaut/Day of the Moon and The Rebel Flesh/The Almsot People is in this case.

Amy is capable of experiencing various time liens and remembering them thanks to the crack in her bedroom wall (that’s how they brought the Doctor back in The Big Bang) and she passed it on to her daughter. HOwever, Rory was not so lucky and could only remember that there should be something else.
As for Madame Kovarian, that was an aborted timeline, she’s stil lalive. Also it was Amy and River’s base but the Silence were using it as well.
