Warlord Games Nightmares in silver Cybermen Collectors set

Available to order from www.doctorwhotimevortex.com

Also available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

The Cybermen, eternally popular (and very persistent!) villains, are second only to the Daleks in people’s minds when they think of classic Doctor Who monsters.

Our latest release, to mark 50 years since their first on screen appearance, is a 10 figure pack featuring the key designs from over the decades.

Mine arrived today. The figurines actually look really nice even unpainted. Although the “Tomb” one is a bit disappointing as it doesn’t really have any handles. The Cybus one looks the best, but the face sculpt on the Mondas one is very inaccurate.

If you look closely at the picture above you can see that the Tomb Cyberman does have handles sculpted on but there is no gap between them and the head, the detail would be easier to see when painted.

The thing is I’m at a bit of a catch-22 because I don’t particularly want to paint them as it just costs time and money and my Zygon ones were a complete disaster, but with the tomb one unpainted it just looks like it has a head without any handles.

I struggled to get the first three sets, but finally managed last month. On Friday I walked into a shop in Portsmouth/Southsea and saw the entire range up to this release, and bought them all. Now I have somewhere to go to buy these and keep up with the range. With less and less Doctor Who outlets now, it is great in this day and age to find new ones.

I’m holding out hope for some collectors figures at least, like Nardole, Bill, the new Cybermen, Master etc.

Bill definitely, probably the new Doctor (as a post regeneration figure) too at some point. I’m hoping for some new villains, especially a 2013 Cyberman as they are in the finale.

I guess we just hope for best. I also hope they do another release of 12 flight control tardis cause I went through a month or so of not checking the merchandise guide.

Based on the previous two years, a new 12th doctor sculpt with multiple varients, Bill, a classic/previous doctor and possibly a missy varient
