Wasn’t the original prop badly damaged on the way to the filming location?
The damage was written into the episode.

If so, I doubt they would’ve rebuilt it and then sold it on.
    This smells fake.

if you actually read the listing there were 3 which is well known, one got damaged for the overseas filming and they had to use it as it would have cost to much to send another one, and the other two were used this end in the UK for the tunnel scenes, this is one of them and its not fake

This seller has advertised this before so it either didn’t sell or the Buyer didn’t pay up. Certainly be good for a Museum to take up as long as it got stored indoors.

Even though it’s sold now, the London Transport Museum could’ve taken it under their wings. I mean, the story was set in London. (And San Helios (really, Dubai)) – but y’know. 😛

As much as I would love this blocking the sun in the front garden and holding up traffic down the street, I think I’ll pass. Be good if the Doctor Who Experience bought it though.

Depends. If, for example, you got £1 a day, that’s 20,000, about 54 years I think.
