CO should be embarrassed that they’re figures, which are supposed to have accuracy, look rubbish compared to this.

Seriously, this is a Christmas ornament which is supposed to look tacky, but it actually looks more accurate and more beautiful to look at than the 5 inch figs.

At least his outfit in this one isn’t just an inaccurate repaint.

Missing the BBC Shop now because here we have another lovely exclusive for America. Why not the U.K… where Doctor Who was born?

Yes at least this has a waistcoat compared to Character’s attempt where they produced four variants which were all inaccurate.

Good, now if character could just hurry up and make this figure too, I’d be very grateful

It’s such a pity the North American BBC Shop doesn’t ship outside the US and Canada. I also miss the UK BBC Shop .. shipping always took forever (far-off corner of Europe here) but at least I could buy from there and they were generally reliable.

I have no noticed that Christmas ornaments seem to get released more in the US than the UK

Kurt S. Adler as a USA company, we did get most things but about a year behind and then generally at the BBC shop so the future is very uncertain now they have gone in the UK

there are some decs around on Amazon ebay but the cost is high and its all a bit “messy”

How i miss the BBC shop

I know. But cmon…. it seems that Doctor Who products must be selling really well in the US maybe even better than in the U.K. Besides, this is from the BBC site. Also, this will probably come to the U.K. It’s from the BBC shop.

But of course they’re only available in the US, just like every other piece of Dr Who merchandise these days!

I think a lot of the problem is here is that you have to import a lot of stuff to make it pay and there are no chains big enough to do it, or want to do it in the UK anymore.

for example there are 800 Hot Topic stores in the USA alone, puts things into perspective a bit

Shouldn’t think so? If they do, it will probably be 2 or 3 years down the line if anyone can be bothered to stock them in the UK. Quicker to just purchase them from the US.
