Booboo, if you look at this image of the 10th Doctor bust from SDCC, it say’s it’s a ‘Sound of Drums’ varient.

But i can’t see what’s different about it. Is it his suit colour?

      Ahh right. Thanks 🙂

I prefer the Blue Jacket version anyway so atleast i’m not going to have to hunt this varient down.

It looks like the Jammy Dodger varient of the 11th Dr bust is also a SDCC exclusive aswell as the Convention exclusive.

    Probably had left over stock.

could be, which reminds me its just a week tomorrow until we go to the experience

      July 12th, 2012 - 1:39pm

Oh yes. It should be better as they have added new exhibits to the museum part.

I really hope the Racnoss is there this time. I remember it being at the Earls court exhibition and couldn’t stop stearing at it!

I wonder if the red bowtie version of the 11th Dr bust is still available at the experience?

    • booboo

      July 12th, 2012 - 1:41pm

all i hope is that the shop is ready with all the merchandise.

When we went on the 1st day to London the shop was dire, full of stuff everyone was already likely to have and with no exclusive stuff whatsoever

    • Judooning

      July 12th, 2012 - 1:43pm

Yeah, i remember quite alot of people were complaining about it.

Rumour has it that there will be an exclusive Rory figure this time round.
That’s going to bring in profits for the Ebay scalpers! If they could get £30 for Amelia, i bet they can get double that for Rory.

    • booboo

      July 12th, 2012 - 1:46pm

if there is a Rory (which i dont Know) I will buy 2 and give one away in a competition to celebrate.

what i dont want to happen is for initial exclusives to arrive weeks after opening as it did before

      July 12th, 2012 - 1:55pm

Cool! I would certainly enter that! 😀

You never know, They might put it on their website as there is now a merchandise section.

I had the same problem as Booboo. Went to the London Experience & then about 2 weeks after I’d been they announced the Exclusive Amelia – I was not impressed! They did have a Merchandise section on the old website but that soon disappeared. Even though they have a new website for the Cardiff one with a Merchandise coming soon – I still worry about the Exclusive nature of these?

    • booboo

      July 12th, 2012 - 5:34pm

with Doctor Who live you could order most of it online, i would think it will be limited to t shirts and the like, it depends on who is running the shop is suppose

They must have lost £1000’s in sales in London as there were people with money to spend and nothing to buy.

At Doctor who live people were handing over money hand over fist because they had it all there

    • Radburn

      July 12th, 2012 - 5:39pm

Once again agree. Not everybody can get to these events or more than once – I would have thought it would make sense to have an Online Shop for the Cardiff Exhibition considering it is now supposed to be a permanent site?

They’ve got a merchanide section on their new site, so hopefully there will be.

It wouldn’t be fair on people who can’t make it
      if they did a Rory

    • booboo

      July 12th, 2012 - 8:08pm

if they do one a variant will turn up sometime i’m sure as it did with Amelia

if the merchandise section is free to enter i go to cardiff and cardiff quite a bit cause i live in wales and the only forbidden planet in wales in cardiff it takes about an hour to get there from swansea so i can get exclusives anytime

Very very pleased to be seeing this.

I have the 3rd and 11th Dr busts so far. Nice to see we will probably be getting all the Doctors.

Usually with these sort of lines, they get axed half way through. Let’s hope we get number 2, 6, 7 and 9!
