Titan Celebrates The Queen’s Jubilee

Titan Merchandise Celebrates The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee 2012

“Upon Doctor Who’s return to our screens in 2005, after a 16 year break, The Times wrote that “Doctor Who is quintessential to being British”. And here at Titan Merchandise we couldn’t agree more!

So in grained is the Doctor in British culture that the Queen herself has even mentioned how much of a fan she is. From the sounds of things she is a full-blown Whovian, apparently once ordering an entire box set to take on a summer hoilday. She was particularly fond of Christopher Eccleston’s Doctor, and was, like many of us disappointed when he left.

It’s no real surprise that Her Majesty is a fan. She has seen the Doctor save our shores every single occasion, with the Doctor having shared over 50 years of her 60 year reign.”

I wonder if the Queen watched the Idiots Lantern?
I watched that last week, would be weird watching yourself on tele. Anyway I was didn’t know Obama watched Homeland, we do forget that leader figures are people. But its good to know that these people aren’t the plastic fake figures we expect, and if they were, we would know they were Auton Duplicates. 😆

Idiots Lantern, there’s a scene where the Doctor puts his sonic inside his coat pocket and you can see the big blue light go off because he pressed the button while putting it away !

And there’s no sound, because as you should know, the prop itself does not make any sound, the sounds are added in post production. I think there are some sonic props that DO make a sound on the show, but am not sure.

Don’t really like that episode, it’s not as bad as any of the other ones Mark Gatiss has wrote, although I haven’t seen Night Terrors. :/
