The Monster of Peladon 3rd Doctor Audio CD

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

TV adventure for the Third Doctor, featuring the Ice Warriors.

Fifty years after his first visit to Peladon, the Doctor returns to find that Queen Thalira has inherited a troubled kingdom from her father.

Membership of the Galactic Federation was expected to bring peace and prosperity to the planet, but the spirit of the sacred monster Aggedor is once more spreading terror and death.

The Doctor uncovers a treacherous plot to steal the mineral wealth of Peladon, and is again confronted by his old enemies – the Ice Warriors.

Jon Culshaw reads this novelisation of Brian Hayles’ 1974 TV serial, which starred Jon Pertwee as the Doctor.

Always rather liked this book. I don’t buy these audio readings as I have all of the books but for people who want these it’s great that they are doing them. (Still prefer reprints though Haha!) One of the simply but well written books. Must read it again soon.

Yes I am looking forward to this one too. What with there being only one third Doctor Target book left for audiobook release, I hope we see more fourth Doctor target audiobooks – Loch Ness Monster (long overdue), Revenge of the Cybermen, Android Invasion and Image of the Fendahl. Even Destiny of the Daleks would be welcomed!

They were going to release Lochness in October but that got replaced with Seeds of Doom for reasons unknown.

Which one is left? Have a feeling it’s Time Monster but can’t be sure.

Time Monster is the only Third Doctor story left at this point. First doctor to get a full target novel reading library!
